Exquisitely detailed antique bronze sculpture cigar cutter. The fox is absolutely wonderfully crafted. Probably pre the 1920s. Unsigned, however I believe it to be Austrian. Measures 9 1/2 long, including the tail. The fox alone is 6 nose to tail. Weighs 2 lbs 6oz. Please feel free to ask any questions.
There is a lot to be said about this doily. This was completely hand made including the netting and lace work. It is not without a few problems. They are small and not noticeable immediately to the average person. The color’s are magnificent. This is the true heirloom, Silk on Silk. There apparently was a thinning in material that became a small hole. It is next to the trim that goes around the outside, in corner. It is not large, but it is there. There are two very thin slight marks that aren’t as noticeable because of the tree and the branches but they’re there. Please zoom in on every picture and look at this very closely for the details that I can’t put in writing as well as you can look at them, there are other minor things wrong but you can see everything in pictures. As far as washing goes, I would not wash this. I would ask a Museum if you have any questions on laundering or repairing that little hole if you want to do that. It’s extraordinary just the way it is. Myself, I would put it under glass and pass it down in the family. I’m certain, in this condition, that’s what a family did. It measures approximately 17 1/2 x 6. It’s not very large, but it makes a huge statement. It would be wonderful for a collector, or anyone that truly loves antique linens. Thank you for looking and have a special day! It will need a signature over 18 years of age. Be kind to others, it will come back to you!

If it was ever produced or just a craft piece. I believe this classic great looking piece is somewhat early as it has some age cracks in the finish across the nose. The density of the cracks is very low as they have some real distance between them, they are not as tightly nit some other items I have seen on other pieces that have real age. The item is porcelain I believe…. However the back unfinished edge looks similar to dark red brown like terracotta but I have no idea if it is… The bottom tooth has been repaired and the the finish of the repaired tooth is not matching the others (it is noticeble which is why the adjusted price). This is fine piece with real presence as you can see from the pictures and is ready to hang on a wall. This item will really set off the space with that little something that can really set the tone for the area. 8.5 from top of hair to bottom of chin. Roughly 8 at its width/widest point. 5 1/2 deep from the wall to the tip of the nose. 8″X6.5″ opening on the back. You will be purchasing the exact item that can be seen in the pictures and described in the title. Thanks for looking at my items good luck, Rob and Kathy. RARE ANTIQUE BOHEMIA ROYAL DUX FIGURAL CERAMIC CLAM SHELL GIRL NYMPH ART NOUVEAU. This very special 16 figurine is made by ROYAL DUX BOHEMIA. There are many models I have seen in my research but few come near to this beauty, especially in height because of the raised twin pedestal. The alluring nymph – woman is set on the edge of a beautiful conch shell which has all the characteristics of a natural shell with the colour and the curled edges. She is very appealingly leaning over making a fine picturesque stance. The shape of her head and hair is especially lovely with the hand painted features on her face especially fine. Her clothes cover her hardly concealing her beautiful shape and drape, melding seamlessly with the coral pillars. I have yet to find one so tall.. Set on what looks like a coral with flora and fauna. MEASUREMENTS: HEIGHT 16″ x WIDTH 10 1/2 x 7 1/2″ DEEP. CONDITION: NO DAMAGE OR CHIPS. Commensurate with age. I FOUND THIS ON GOOGLE.. The Dux (Duchcov) factory was established in 1853. Seven years passed without apparent successes. The firm just produced utility porcelain. In 1860 it was bought by Eduard Eichler. The new owner named it Eduard Eichler Thonwaren-Fabrik. The factory started to imitate designs by Copenhagen, Worcester and Sevrés. They were succesful winning even Silver Medal at the Paris exhibition. Eduard Eichler died in 1887. Next three years the company was run by his widow. Her son-in-law, Wilhelm Hans, bought it in 1890. He further developed the factory and in 1897 tarnsformed it into a stock corporation Duxer Porzellanmanufaktur A. The company was rewarded the Grand Prix prize at the world exhibition in St. The company had difficulties to continue production during WWI. They weren’t able to keep prewar quality. Another blow for the company was the Great Depression. After World War II German workers had to leave Czechoslovakia. In 1992 the name of the factory in Duchcov was changed to Porcelánová Manufaktura Royal Dux Bohemia A. Since 1997 it is a part of the “Ceský Porcelán” group. I try to describe all the items as accurately and as honestly as possible, and I always include photos or scans of the actual items. My items are usually vintage or antique, very rarely new, and condition will sometimes reflect this with minor marks, wear on gilding etc. Anything major such as cracks chips or major loss of gilding etc will be pointed out in the description and shown on the photos. If you are still unsure as to the condition etc. International buyers please note. It is marked Sterling on one of the small tubular supports for the lamp. It measures almost 4 1/2 inches long and 2 inches at the widest part. It stands about 2 inches tall at the oil part and the dragon figure. What a rare piece to find still intact. It is in good condition execpt for a few small dents in the round bowl. They are minor considering the age of the piece. Nothing to take away for the piece itself. I polished the piece after I took the photos. Check out our other auctions this week.
