Rare 19th Century French Antique Cherrywood Refectory Serving Dining Table. Without doubt one of my favourite pieces of furniture. These have so many uses from a dining table to a large console/table to a kitchen island/counter or a side table (I’ve even seen them in butchers at blocks). This is in fantastic original condition with wonderful patina but structurally still very solid given it age. As you can see, it does have some character marks which I think only adds to the charm however you could sand it down and refinish it if you were looking for perfection. A super piece of furniture at a very modest price given the quality. Height to the bottom of the skirt is 49 cm so it could benefit from being raised slightly if you plan to use it as a dining table.
