Antique RARE 17 2 LION Silverplate Heavy Candle Stick Holders Early Mid Century. It has a great patina the way it is. It is 17 inches tall and weighs over 4 pounds each, fantastic detail. We were told these are very rare and hard to find. We found no makers mark on them.
For sale is a RARE early antique tinder box with its complete assembly of fire starting tools (, a wrought iron striker, a piece of flint rock, and some tinder fiber). The box is made out of brass with a hinged lid and a flat finger loop, very solid and well made. Good old brass patina throughout. The box measures about 3.5″ in diameter and 1.25″ tall. The lid opens and shuts properly with all content inside. The iron striker measures about 2 long. It is in the classical bow form with two nicely curled tails. There are clearly visible early hammering and folding signs. Perfectly darkened iron surface and great antique patina. Along with a flint rock and some old tinder material, this assembly of fire starting tools is an essential early lighting device for colonial American home and pioneer travelers alike. Very Rare Collection of early Candle Snuffers 19th. The snuffers come from an old 18th century mansion located in Venice, Italy. Condition is excellent for the age. A lovely example of the skill of the Wemyss artists. This one might have been painted by Karol Necola. He died in 1915 and Edwin Sandland became the head artist. In 1928 Karols son Joe Necola took over before bringing the whole pottery down here in Devon The design is a soft delicate pink rose design and could have been painted by any one of these three. The base is signed Wemyss and the Wemyss mark is impressed, which tells us that this piece is. Pre 1930, the year they moved from Fife to Devon. They are 18cm tall. Antique Tin Litho Christmas Angel Bells Candle Table Decoration, Rare, Early 1900s. Rarely seen, these beautiful Angel Bells are probably early 20th Century. It comes in several (4) pieces you assemble. Total height is 11 1/2 tall. When cans les are lit, the heat cases the wheel to turn, thus ringing the chimes. The candles you see here are newer and included. Most likely made in Germany. There is discoloration on tin from candle flame yes, they must have been used! The one star had been broken off, but I saved it and perhaps you can glue back. Wonderful litho of manger scene. Use photos for majority of description.
