This rare early 20th century German mohair bear on wheels is a unique and charming antique piece. The addition of wheels adds a playful touch to this original antique, making it a delightful addition to any collection of antiques or vintage decor. As you can see from the pictures he has some wear to the fur but otherwise in great condition for age. He has a ring through his nose and original frame and wheels. Lovely old rare Steiff antique Early 1900s collectors teddy bear. Button eyes full of character with a long cone nose and long arms. Adorable old early teddy bear repair stitching on his ear Some repair stitching on both arms but does not detract from beauty. At some time replacement paws and pads. Black claw stitching Black boot button eyes nose thread worn. 5 /14 inch tall. He does have balding to areas of fur but can be expected for his age. Mainly on the head. Rare Antique Hertwig Nodding Dog or Bear. Bisque Porcelain. Germany Early 1900s

An extremely rare early example of a nodding dog or bear, made of bisque porcelain in Germany in the early 1900s. It is probably by Hertwig and would make a superb addition to a collection of’nodders’ or vintage toy collectibles. The matt porcelain is white with brown hand-painted colour to the animal’s face and body. The head is permanently attached to the body by a wire pin which is in good working order and, as you can see from the video, there is plenty of nodding action! This lovely little piece, which is unmarked, is in excellent condition. There is very small nick underneath the head – I only noticed it when studying the photos so it’s really hard to see. However I have taken it into account when pricing. Please note that some of these photos were taken in golden yellow sunlight. The more accurate colour is on the video. Do have a good look at all the pics and ask away if you require any further info or images. Nose to tail the figure is approx 8 cms (3.15 inches) long and stands 4.5 cms (1.75 inches) tall.

Antique Musical Early Jointed Traditional Teddy Bear. Music box is slow and plays when it wants to. Condition is loved and Used. Teddy is well worn and loved balding due to love and age. Repair stitched arm and 3 repairs on his back. Black button eyes maybe replaced, like this since I have owned him.. With an adorable face and cute nose. I have had him many years. This teddy is for someone who wants character has been well loved he is not fluffy and new.
