RARE ANTIQUE EARLY 1800s SEATED CAT BANK ROCKINGHAM GLAZE YELLOW WARE
Here we have an early cat bank that is simply exceptional and is highly collectable among cat and bank collectors. The potter molded the cat in a realistic seated pose looking forward with its tail wrapped around its hind feet. This is nicely molded with the light Rockingham glaze accenting the fine details in the cat. The bank was molded in three pieces, front, back and base and were joined before firing. You can see the seam along the side and back of the cat with a sliver of clay missing. Measuring 3 ¾ high, the bank is in near mint condition with wear along the seam where the halves were joined and no other damage or repairs. On the underside, you can see where extra clay stuck to the bottom during firing in the kiln. Early cat banks are highly collectable and would be prized in any collection.

VERY RARE Antique Victorian Silver Floral Christening Cup Early to Mid 1800's
VERY RARE Antique Victorian Coin Silver Floral Christening Cup Mid 1800’s. This is a very rare and beautiful piece and was a wonderful Christening gift for Thomas. It is intricately crafted with beautifully detailed flowers. Just short of 3 1/2 inches in height, it has a diameter of 3 1/4 inches at the top, and weighs 154.3 grams. This is in excellent condition and there is the appropriate amount of wear and patina associated with its age. Please feel free to ask any questions or request additional pictures. Silversmith Robert Rait was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1807, and was listed as a Jeweler, Silversmith, and Retailer in New York City from 1833. He passed away in 1869. His brother appears to have been David Crichton Rait, a well-known silversmith in Scotland. This mark is interesting because the R. Rait is stamped over another mark. They also worked exclusively for Tiffany & Company after 1851. In 1868 silver laws were passed requiring silver to be marked Sterling or 925, or Coin. Before that year it wasn’t as regulated, and coin silver was often not marked as such. Coin silver is less pure than sterling, but can be up to 90 percent silver. Check out this one by the same company, but a few years later while working for Tiffany & Co..

6 Solid Silver Old English Teaspoons. 5 have the following details. Maker: Godbehere Wigan and Boult. The 6th the mark has rubbed, and so the maker is unclear. However the year is 1814 and the location of the maker was London. Overall condition is good for the age, with the only issue being the hallmarks rubbing. Any further questions just ask!

Here we have an attractive rare pair of reclining lions not shown in any of the books on collecting yellow ware. This pair of recumbent lions on rectangular bases are nicely molded and have a realistic appeal. One of the lions is mostly clear glazed yellow ware, the other lion has light applications of Rockingham glaze as accents. This is unique form was produced by only a single potter. These measure 6″ in length by 3″ in height the lions are thickly potted on hollow bases. The lions are in excellent condition with only minor wear on the base that don’t detract or take away from these magnificent animals. Any serious collector would be proud to add these to their collection.

RARE ANTIQUE AMERICAN EARLY 1800s CORN MOLD YELLOW WARE
Dating to around 1840, this is a finely detailed early corn mold. The mold is very crisply formed and highly decorative. There were several different varieties of corn molds produced, and this is the most decorative and desirable. This mold is large, measuring 7″ long by 6 ¼” wide and 3 ¾ in height. This has had a long life and shows it with wear around the rim and foot. Lisa McAllister includes this mold in her book “Collector’s Guide to Yellow Ware Book 1″ on page 92.

Step back in time with this beautiful Authentic Antique Early 1900 Dress with consists of 2 piece Skirt and Blouse/Top. This RARE piece features intricate Beautiful patterns of Edwardian lace crochet, cutwork detailing, giving it a timeless and elegant look. The outfit is more of a creamy beige/yellow linen, not sure if color is original or from aging but it is very pretty! From an estate, the the linen dress is in its original and authentic form, adding to its historical significance and in very nice condition for its age. Some of the lace has separations(see photos), there are few small spot stains, the outfit has hook and eye closures which some are missing the hook and some places missing the eye(see photos). The skirt has a few holes and repairs but I don’t think any stand out but are there. Of course no labels so guessing x-small to small but please go by the approximate measurements. Underarm to underarm across front approx 15″(30″). Short sleeve from shoulder to end 13. Sleeve armhole opening at the end across 5″(10″). Shoulder to shoulder across 15. Waist across front 12 1/2″(25″). Waist across front 11″(22″). Hips across front 18″(36″). Please see all photos as they are part of the description. Want find another have looked everywhere only found examples of the button on the key in museums. Both key and cuffs are marked T. With that said I have not found any examples of these anywhere after googling. I would say if they where reproduced they would be everywhere.
