This increasingly rare antique very early Wemyss biscuit barrel is a unique piece of hand-painted ceramic art from Scotland. With vibrant oranges and a foliage pattern, this decorative pot stands at 16cm tall and bears the incised mark of Wemyss. Dating back to the Victorian Era this decorative piece showcases the craftsmanship of the Art Pottery production technique in the United Kingdom. It is in very good clean condition with no chips and only slight crazing as per photos. Displays well, no chips or cracks slight hairlines to one side of the base. You can see in the last pic.
