Rare Antique 1907 Paragon. Gold & Cobalt Chocolate Cup Trio. Up for sale is a rare and exquisitely decorated antique Paragon china trio. The elegantly shaped Empire Form chocolate cup measures 3-1/8″ high by 3″ across the rim with a flared profile and a high swans neck looped handle. The saucer is 5-3/8 wide. The bread plate is 6 in diameter. The pattern features very deep (nearly black) outer cobalt bands overlaid with arches of Art Deco gold filigree. Tiny pink rose buds are scattered against the bright white porcelain. The interior of the cup has a repeat of the outer rim décor. The pieces are stamped with the early Paragon backmark shown, dating to 1907. Also hand painted with the pattern number. This stunning set is in exceptionally fine antique condition!
