In the Heart of the Potteries. Goebel Lady Figure’At The Tea Dance 1928. For sale we have this wonderful. This stunning figure’At The Tea Dance’ is part of the Fashion on Parade series and is representing the dress from 1928. By 1928, a flapper on the town in a bare-shouldered shift was a familiar site. Even the necklines plunged a little deeper, very risque and alluring for the times. This lady has the classic’20’s bob hairdo (also very daring). The dress is a lovely rose color and her shoes are black with an ankle strap. The side of her skirt has a cream colored sash that is attached to one side – very elegant. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or restoration (see photos). 20.5cm Tall approx. On all domestic pottery orders! (excluding furniture items unless stated). RARE American Brilliant Period Tuthill Primrose Bishop Hat Antiq Cut Glass Bowl

A rare and highly collectible and hard to find American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Bishops Hat Bowl. The piece though not signed has been identified as the Primrose pattern made by Tuthill Glass Company circa 1900. It has a large overlap rim which when turned over, looks like a Bishop’s Hat. Tuthill’s excellent reputation as one of the finest and most inspired American Brilliant Period Cut Glass makers was based on a style that was practiced with a high degree of precision on excellent blanks and combines stone wheel engraving with brilliant geometric cutting. The bowl combines a beautiful intaglio floral border on the rim with three rows of punties around the bowl and a sparkling geometric mirror star on the bottom. The glass is heavy, clear and bright. There is one small bite witch is highlighted in two photos.. One is a closeup, one shows the size of the flaw in relation to the total size of the piece. Slight amount of ware on bottom. Rare KPM Berlin Porcelain Art Deco Couple Kiss Figurine Figure Porzellan Figur. This product data sheet is originally written in English. A very rare figurine very much in the Art Deco style of the period made by KPM during the Art Deco era. It is of a couple embraced in a passionate kiss standing with a baby in between them on top of a column on a rectangular base. Left in the white it makes quite the impression! One rarely sees pieces in this style by them. The figure is 13.25 inches tall with the base being 3 inches wide by 3.5 inches deep. The figurine is marked underneath with their under glaze blue scepter mark as well as various impressed numbers, etc. The artist name G. Wied is impressed into the base in the back as shown. The piece is in superb condition with a black kiln dust spot to the back and two firing cracks in the base inside which do not affect the piece at all! Rare Art Nouveau KPM Berlin Porcelain Amberg Asian Lady Figurine Porzellan Figur. This product data sheet is originally written in English. A very nice figurine made by KPM in the early 20th century during the original period. Almost impossible to find in white from this period and in perfect condition on top of that! It is an Asian lady (I think Chinese) wearing a flowing robe with a parrot on her left hand. She is standing on a simple yet elegant base. This figurine was part of the crown prince’s wedding procession designed by Adolf Amberg and extremely popular among collectors even today though most one sees are newer models! One can see why – a well modeled figurine that is super elegant and left in the white brings this out even more I think! The figurine is in perfect condition with a brown firing spot on the back of her right shoulder neck interface. She displays perfectly and is 10.25 inches tall, 5.625 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. The figure is marked underneath with the older under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the usual impressed marks one finds on older KPM pieces though I cannot make out this year mark. Could be 1927 or 1931. The scepter has a scratch mark in the glaze denoting a second choice due to the brown spot on her shoulder. Hochzeitszug 20thC German Germany Figure Jugendstil antique.
