Very Rare Antique 1930s ZENITH Brass Mantle Clock WORKING
Here for sale is an absolutely stunning antique Zenith mechanical mantle clock in working order. Seems to be ticking alright and keeping okay time. Probably benefits from a service though. Quite a rare example, usually you only see the zenith travel clocks. Never seen one of these time only ones ESPECIALLY in this case. Looks like someone replaced the screws and used some sort of glue. Hopefully the glue can be scraped off and I would recommend replacing the screws as the actual clock barrel can get quite loose on its own because the screws aren’t original! Any questions please ask.

Diameter 4.5cm (1 3/4″) Depth 1.7cm (11/16″). The dial is silvered with fine black lettering and carries a fine blued pointer. It bears the engraved signature ” Dent, 61 Strand, London”. It is also engraved with 3 weather conditions ” Rain, Change, Fair” and also “Compensated” (for temperature). There are 2 scales on the dial. The inner ring reads from 23″ to 31″ registering the atmospheric pressure. The outer ring reads from 0 to 8,000 feet registering the altitude. The front bezel rotates to adjust the recording pointer. The instrument has a patinated brass pocket watch shaped case in good condition. The reverse has a small hole enabling access to the calibration screw. The glass is bevelled and appears to be original with no damage. Overall in good condition with a very clean dial. The barometer is in full working condition and readily passes the’plastic bag’ pressure test. The bezel rotates (a little stiffly). The case is covered in leather with bit of wear & loss mainly around the hinge. The case closes firmly and opens by pressing the brass button. Internally the case is covered in green velour and silk linings in excellent condition.

Unbelievably cool old lock in good working condition. It does turn a bit tight but go slowly and gently and it opens right up. Crude construction suggests very early age, I might even be of by a couple hundred years.

Antique Rare Early Orobr German Tin Litho Working Wind Up Steam Roller
Antique Rare Early Orobr German Tin Litho Working Wind Up Steam Roller. This has a very cool looking chain driven Drive Mechanism. When wound up the toy features forward movement and has backwards movement. This toy is almost a 100 years old. This is very hard to find all original and in working condition. Needs a bit of lube which I have not done to keep from attracting dirt. Measures 6 inches long, 2-1/2 inches wide and 3-1/4 inches high. SA 5037 020919 2/192. From The Internet: The name Orobr was actually one of the trademarks of the Oro Works (Orowerke) toy company of Brandenberg, Germany. The owners and partners of the company were Mr. The company manufactured inexpensive, but well-made tin toys both before WWI and again after the war, until 1922. Surprisingly, for low-cost toys, there were some very complex toys made that had as many as 42 different pieces of tin plate with tabs. The small tabs were made to fit into small slots and then bent to hold together the 2 different pieces. Antique Sewing Machine Rare Early 1900s VESTA B Working L O Dietrich Germany
Antique Sewing Machine Rare Early 1900s VESTA B Working L O Dietrich Germany. This beautiful sewing machine was produced by Vesta, who manufactured sewing machines in the Leipzig/Altenburg area of Germany between the late 1800s and 1938. The company was originally formed by 3 locksmiths, Leopold O. Dietrich, Hermann Köhler and Gustav Winselmann. They had very limited experience in producing sewing machines and initial were “inspired by” SINGER machines, but would eventually produce their own designs. Had left and established a new factory in Altenburg under the VESTA name, whilst the other two founders would form their own company. Post WW2, the company never restarted as a private enterprise and reopened as’VEB Sewing Machine Works Altenburg’ and would continue until the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990. Vesta produced a number of models, with this particular example being a VESTA-B and bearing the serial number S1256729. Vesta machines are rare in the UK, particularly for machines which are working and in good cosmetic condition. Furthermore, this example comes with original spare parts, spare needles in an original pack, and an original Vesta manual/parts list (all in excellent condition for their age). The sewing machine is in good order and sews well (see pictures 11 and 12 for example of output). Cosmetically, the machine is in very good condition for its age, with only minor wear to the decals. The case has seen some woodworm at some point, but it does not appear to be a major issue and is otherwise in good condition. In the latter case, we will send you an invoice ASAP. Some of the exceptions to these rules are as follows. Items over 15 KG will be issued via an alternate courier service, which will be sent in conjunction with ParcelMonkey. All items are available to collect in person from Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. There is no charge for this, but please get in touch in advance if this is something you wish to do. If you feel the item is not as described or has somehow been damaged in transit, then please open a return. CHELSEA Automatic SHIP'S BELL CLOCK 1926 Working Strike RARE EARLY Yacht Boston
THANK YOU FOR VIEWING MY LISTINGS. This listing is for. Automatic is the KEY Word.. The following is what I have learned. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS if you have any. I have described this the best I can. As is where is AS DESCRIBED. And ASK questions if you have any. (6 years short) and WORKING. Unfortunately I was only able to acquire this Master Clock. BUT if YOU have the relay and the Bell. Then you will want to add this to your collection ;=. The Wood Frame measures about 8 square and is made to hang the clock and hide the terminals and it fits tightly – it looks homemade and weighs about 1.1/2 pounds Mahogany I THINK. I would want a different display if I were to keep it. Either a nice panel to hang on the wall. Or the curved desk display. The clock weighs close to 6 pounds! It is about 3.1/2 Deep. The dial states that this was made for. SPAULDING & COMPANY, CHICAGO. The Brass bezel measures about 5.1/2″ across and has a small vintage dent on the outside edge (see picture) This unscrews so everything can be accessed from the front – The clock face and hands are in very good condition and measures about 4″ across. The back is sealed closed. The patent number of the clock is December 31, 1901 and the MATCHING serial number on the movement and the back of the clock is number 182790 and that dates it between 1925 and 1929 but closer to 1926! The movement is CLEAN and has been sealed – I do not have a history of the clock and it does not appear to have been worked on – I wound it and after a slow start it ran and chimed as it should for the past week 1 bell for 12:30 2 bells for 1 Three bells for 1:30 up to 8 bells repeating for 4 8 and 12 (the ships watch). I have not re wound it. This is what the advanced collectors collect. From my research I found that Chelsea Clocks. Are owned by a long list of. James Arness Bing Crosby Barry Goldwater Bob Hope BILLY JOEL Rocky Marciano Aristotle Onasis David Letterma n John Wayne General Douglas MacArthur Each member of the Greatful Dead! ______________________ your name here. Movies the Chelsea Clocks were in. The Hunt For Red October. Clear and Present Danger. I think that would be on a good day with the wind blowing in the right direction without the high seas! I can start it with a reserve and never sell it OR I can list it with a fair starting price and let the big boys come out and play – I choose not to start it 99 cents and hope…. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU HAVE ANY. Stay safe and be well – Dave. Please review the description and photos. And ask any necessary questions. THIS IS ORIGINAL – VINTAGE AND. Don’t let my low starting price fool you. YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT. DON’T MISS YOUR CHANCE. THE US 48 STATES. My Choice of INSURED. Double boxed and well protected. This will probably weigh close to 10 pounds. After I package it. Clock and Frame weigh 7.1/2 # alone. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR CONDITION. As a Photo is worth 1,000 words. Please feel free to contact me.
