Very Rare Royal Doulton Antique Puppy, Seated HN 128. Model Number: 116 (etched to base). Height: 4 inches (10.1 cm). Issued: 1913 – 1946 This piece can be dated to November 1918, 11 : 18 etched to base. Perfect Condition Assured – No cracks, chips, crazing, scratches, restoration or any other kind of damage. There is a small white patch of paint miss to the rear of the puppy’s left leg and smaller patches to the left of this, see pics. See also a small piece of kiln residue to the left underside of the base. The paint miss observations have been studied under magnification and are underglaze, obviously the kiln residue is not. The piece is in the exact condition it left the factory. Any white areas in my photos are purely light reflection. Will be sent very safely packaged, as always.
Here for sale is an absolutely stunning antique Zenith mechanical mantle clock in working order. Seems to be ticking alright and keeping okay time. Probably benefits from a service though. Quite a rare example, usually you only see the zenith travel clocks. Never seen one of these time only ones ESPECIALLY in this case. Looks like someone replaced the screws and used some sort of glue. Hopefully the glue can be scraped off and I would recommend replacing the screws as the actual clock barrel can get quite loose on its own because the screws aren’t original! Any questions please ask.
