Very Rare Green Uranium 7 Piece Trinket Set with Clock. Art Deco Depression Era 1920/30s. This is a very rare Uranium Green. Art Deco Trinket Set or Dressing Table Set with a Clock making this a very rare set. These were made in the Depression era 1920’s and 1930’s between the 2 World Wars and are nearly 100 years old, nearly antique. Is a large, heavy 7 piece set including the Clock. The set comprises. One large Trinket Tray measuring 12.75. Inches or 32.5cm wide by 10. Inches or 25.5cm deep. Inches or 8.5cm high. Inches or 8.5cm wide and 2. Inches or 5cm deep. The clock stands on 4 little glass feet and they are very good. It has a winder on the back of the clock but I have never wound it up, I have only had it on display. Two large Candle Stick Holders are 5.25. Inches or 13.5cm high and 3.5 inches or 9cm wide across the base. One Trinket Pot and Lid measures 3. Inches or 7.5cm wide and nearly 3.5 inches or 9cm high, with the lid on top. Trinket Tray 3.5. Inches or 9cm wide and. Inches or 5cm across. The trinket pieces have an unusual patt. Ern of leaves and twigs cut into the glass. The whole Trinket Set or Dressing Table Set is in very good condition for its age. There are two small flat chips on the back of the tray which are very hard to see because of the cut pattern, but you can feel them. There is a tiny smooth chip on the back of the clock. The rest of the pieces are all good. It is a good quality Trinket Set and is very heavy when combined and on display. Have a look at all the photos to see the glowing lovely uranium green colour and condition. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. I will double box this lovely. This wonderful little box measures 5 in width x 2? ” in height x 3 ¼” in depth and is literally undamaged, with no loose hinges, dings, dents, edge flea bites, stains or other unsightly, depreciating damage. It features a very nice, decorative brass front lid swing hook, as well as original cut brass plate hinges. Holding the box together are cut nail fasteners, a hallmark and characteristic of early American wood box construction. The flame mahogany is absolutely beautiful, with decidedly honey, amber color and veins of embedded chestnut. The flame mahogany has its characteristic and usual three-dimensional quality, with areas of wispy flames of color that give this mahogany tropical wood its name. The corners of the box are still undamaged and intact and the box opens and closes freely. A great early to mid 19th century American primitive, New England antique small wooden trinket box.
