Very rare early R. “Model A” sewing machine in fine condition. Feed dog spring, tension spring and retaining nut for that replaced, all other parts original. Even needle is original WANZER branded. Comes with original granite base. Rotates easily and you can sew with this, but it makes skip stitches here and there, I believe reason being loose spring keeping shuttle in place. SERIAL: 4377 Approximately from late 1860’s- early 1870’s Canada. Study images carefully as they are most important part of description. The item “Antique R. M. WANZER & CO. Very rare model Herman Wollenberg Glove sewing machine from the early 1900’s. This machine may be unique. It comes out of a collection of rare machines. It is different from the few Wollenberg machines that can be found on the internet. A true collectors piece. In working condition and looks to be complete. Wooden base is of a later date and was made to fit this machine. Of course I can not guarantee the machine in anyway as it is well over a 100 years old. All that I can tell you is that it is a good working machine but it does need some T. The machine is in complete , original untouched and unrestored condition. Check out my other items.
