RARE Antique 1895 Early Hamilton 935 18s 17J Swing-out case – Low Serial Number. Hamilton Grade 935 Model 2 Class 2. Stem wind / Lever set. White enamel double sunk dial with Roman numerals. Open Face Swing-out case. MOVEMENT : When fully wound and placed on a timegrapher in the dial up position for 1 minute it shows the watch losing approximately -19 seconds per day. DIAL : Numerous hairlines on the dial. CASE : Case has been either heavily worn or polished smooth. There is an odd shape of 10k gold plate on the back. Heavy wear to crown. CRYSTAL: Crystal with numerous scratches and a chip. 2.6, 18.0, 38.2. HERE IS AN BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE ORIGINAL PIECE OF QUACK MEDICINE HISTORY. ALBERT ABRAMS IS PERHAPS THE MOST FAMOUS INVENTOR OF QUACKERY. THIS OSCILLOCLAST WAS EVEN SUPPOSE TO CURE VANERIAL DISEASE. THE CABINET IS NEAR PERFECT WITH ONLY MINOR SCUFFS ETC. THE BOTTOM IS UNMARKED AND SHOWS NO WEAR.. THE TOP PLATE IS WONDERFUL. THE ORIGINAL FABRIC CORD IS FRAYED AND MISSING THE PLUG. THE TEST KNOBS ALL TURN WELL, BUT ONE ON THE FAR LEFT IS MISSING , IT IS IN SUPERB CONDITION. THE BOTTOM OF THE KNOBS IS TARRED INTERNALLY. BULB SCREWS INTO THE TOP PLATE, BUT NO FUNCTIONAL SOCKET IS PRESENT. WIRE IS PRESENT INSIDE BUT NO SOCKET. EASY REPLACEMENT FOR THE TWO MISSING PARTS. Serial # is an early make, U389. Serial Plate says Dr Albert Abrams, Physico Clinical Co. 2151 Sacramento St, San Francisco U. Pattent Pending Voltage (blank) Serial No U389. Up for sale is a very early and rare antique 18s Hamilton 17 jewel grade 936 pocket watch. This watch is serial number 925 and was made in 1894. Movement : This watch runs great and keeps good time. The beautiful original lever set movement is in very nice condition, is adjusted, is Rail Road grade, and has 17 jewels. It has all matching serial numbers including the balance wheel! Dial : The original dial is in good condition but it does have cracks. The hands are the original. Case : The gold filled case is in good condition. The covers work as they should. The case shows light normal pocket wear. This is not the original case but it is correct. This rare and very special watch is ready to display or carry!
