As an award-winning fiber artist, I have been collecting baskets for years. This RARE Early 1900s hand woven ribbed Appalachian basket has beautiful hand-painted detailing and is in excellent condition for its age. A must have for any collector. Measures 12 in at its widest, 9-In rim and handle. I believe it is made of split oak. I’m a collector and interior decorator who is downsizing my personal and inherited items. All have been well cared for and from non-smoking homes.

Without the frame : Height 7,8 cm 3.07 in. Width 6,7 cm 2.64 in. With the frame : Height 9,2 cm / 3.62 in. Width 8,2 cm / 3.23 in. No damage on the portrait. To be noted that the frame is original. But not the glass (dating later). Accident on the backside of the frame. (An “antique statement” of Work of Art of more than 100 years old is joined to the invoice). Offering this beautiful antique black painted early black Wood framed gentleman silhouette. Measures 5.75 x 4.75″ x 3/4″ thick. This is a beautiful early silhouette. Its all original and in good condition. Did have some loss/abrasions on the frame so I dry brushed in with black folk art paint. It is also signed but hard to make all it out. Beautiful piece and addition to your collection.

Antique 19th century, painted blackish green tin bucket has an old replaced make do tin lid. Measures 14″ wide x 8″ high s 6-3/4″ deep (14″ high to top of handle). Perfect Christmas present or gift for a serious collector. Lovely antique French blue glass scent bottle with ormolu decoration, adorned with painted plaque. I believe would have been bought as a Grand Tour souvenir. Stunning quality item in excellent condition. 10.7 cm tall. IN VERY NICE CONDITION DESPITE ITS 142YEARS OF AGE & USE SHOWING very MINOR WEAR, BOTH The bottle and stopper ARE IN PERFECT UNDAMAGED CONDITION. PERFECT FOR THE SERIOUS COLLECTOR. This would make a stunning present gift. THERE ARE SOME very LIGHT SCRATCHES TO THE GLASS BUT NO CRACKS or chips. THE “FLIP TOP” MECHANISM IS IN FULL WORKING ORDER AS IS THE PERFECT RARE GLASS STOPPER. The polished Pontil mark at the base is a great way to tell it’s early age. I have approximately 300 antique perfume bottles which I have taken many years collecting. (see a few in picture 11). I have also included a picture of part of my 750 strong collection of Sampson Mordan in picture 12. Obviously these are not included in the price of this item, just for reference. If you want spotless then the high street is for you, but if you want a great antique that will appreciate in price with age then this is for you. You don’t get this by messing people about.
