Offering four, individual matching, iridescent pink carnival glass Fenton open dish swans. These original ones are very rare. Swans belonged to my great aunt and I was told she used them to hold mints on her dinner table during parties but in the old catalogs they are called, open salts or match holders. This set of four is from the 1920’s before Dugan bought the molds. I did my best in the photos to catch their true color but it was extremely difficult. I would call them Pink. Yet there is a shimmering iridescence that brings out other colors like gold and orange. Typical of Carnival Glass. The swans measure 5 1/4″ nose to tail and 2.5″ across the wings and are very detailed in the glass. They are not perfect. Along the top edge of one swan’s wing there are some tiny nicks. I have noted it in the photos. I also found a rough spot on the tail of one although you cannot see any chip in the glass. It might be a rough place left unpolished when it came out of the mold. I have also noted it in the photos. The bottom is collared but not marked. Thank you for stopping! This item is in the category “Pottery & Glass\Decorative Pottery & Glassware\Figurines”. This is an early Horsman baby doll; if you’re a Horsman or early composition collector, this character seldom comes up in good condition. At 16, this early baby is the perfect playable size. In stunning condition, with no crazing, shiny composition. Tin sleepy eyes, and a HTF open mouth (meant to take a bottle). Ready to display and love! No broken fingers or toes. Within the community there are many who are apprehensive or skeptical of antique dealers, while most of us are simply trying to run a small business or fund our own collections. Once you are a dealer, you will understand that this community is small and most long-timers don’t intentionally harm buyers. And it is a JOB. I recycle and upcycle boxes and materials as much as possible. I ask that you contact me with any issues you may have. Collecting should always be fun and I love to make relationships with my buyers. I once had to accept a return from someone new to antique doll collecting because they didn’t realize kid leather arms don’t hold poses. Please use your best judgement and knowledge of your chosen collectible. As always, PROPS are not included in the listing unless specifically stated. NO ODORS unless stated. Rare Early Antique Three Piece Mold Decanter Olive Green Bottle with Open pontil. A fine and nearly flawless specimen of a nearly 200-year-old decanter. Three piece molds were used early on to allow for more elaborate designs. This is a much earlier three-piece leaf molded bottle. This early American bottle was produced by the Keene Marlboro Street Factory, Keene, NH. In the 1820s or 1830s. The three vertical mold seams on this bottle are also well disguised by the elaborate body pattern and are only obvious where a horizontal or diagonal line intersects the mold seam. A true gem of a bottle that any collector would be happy to own! There are no chips or cracks, and it measures approximately 7.25 tall by 3.75 wide.
