RARE ANTIQUE TIN TOY. EARLY MECHANICAL MOTORCYCLE / AUTOMATON RIDER. NICE SIZE AT ABOUT 8 INCHES LENGTH / 7 INCHES HEIGHT. CLOCKWORK / WIND UP MECHANISM….. POWERS THE BIKE THRU ITS RARE CHAIN DRIVE ACTION. PERIOD EDWARDIAN GENTLEMAN FIGURE, WITH ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED FINISH. VERY NICE OLD MOTORCYCLE, STILL WITH BRIGHT BLUE LITHO. NICE TIN SPOKE WHEELS & ORIG. ORIGINAL FIXED-KEY WINDER TO THE LEFT SIDE. THE MOTORCYCLIST HAS A WONDERFUL ARTICULATED MOVEMENT, GIVING THE IMPRESSION HE IS “PEDAL STARTING ” HIS BIKE. STILL WITH THE UNDERSIDE LITTLE BALANCE WHEELS. WONDERFUL OLD PIECE NOW OVER 100 YEARS……. The rider displays with typical paint loss/wear, chips, flaking as is common to these earlier German toys. Nice bright tin litho, with just little surface marks, chips, scuffs etc…. Great rot free state. No repaint or touch up. Motorcyclist has lost his left arm to shoulder hang tabs i have created a simple metal bracket with tabs, which simply slots into the original shoulder slots….. The rider’s underside upper left arm, simply requires securing permanently to this bracket…. With a drop of solder ideally….. But to leave for the next owner, i have had the arm very securely fixed in place with a small blue tack fixing/so easily removeable if desired. If you look at the images, you probably wouldn’t know the left arm has been repaired this way….. But i always try to be honest. MOTORCLE RIDER SITS GREAT ON HIS OLD SADDLE. WITH A CAREFUL WIND UP OF THE ANCIENT MECHANISM….. SEE SHORT CLIP BELOW AS THE MOTORCYCLE RIDES ABOUT VERY NICELY. RARE EARLY GERMAN TOY DISPLAYS REALLY WELL & STILL WORKS GREAT. Rare early Harley Davidson Motorcycle ORIGINAL STONE jacket indian antique old

ENGRAVED STONE FROM ORIGINAL 1918 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FACTORY IN. The stone you get is the one pictured. An addition was built in 1918 at the original Harley-Davidson Milwaukee, WI, plant. This was one of the ORIGINAL STONES that was used around the windows and doors of the Harley-Davidson 1918 structure!!! Around 2002 the wing was knocked down and put into storage at the Harley-Davidson Museum there. Each comes with a letter of authenticity which tells the story and chain of control of them. Each COA is hand-signed and has a unique individually numbered hologram attached. You will get the stone pictured. What a great gift…. What a great cause… Its a win-win, that’s for sure. What Harley person wouldn’t LOVE this! Dale Beatty and John Gallina (pictured at bottom of the COA) were injured in a Humvee in Iraq in 2004. Dale lost both legs, John suffered traumatic brain injuries. They could have chosen to respond any way to these disabling injuries, but they chose to not allow their injuries hold them back. They founded Purple Heart Homes, and in fact were pictured on the cover of TIME’s 2011 cover under the caption “The New Greatest Generation”. Dale unexpected passed away last year, but John and their team carry on. John shys away from individual recognition, but is rightfully-so proud of their charity and what it has done for our veterans. The charity fixes up houses to help our veterans out by building ramps, widen doorways, insulating, installing new electric wires, hot water heaters, and much more – at NO COST to the veteran! It is all funded from donations and fundraisers like this. They also have a program where they refurbish entire homes and sell them to the veteran at 50% of the home’s value. What a great program! Also, if this is a bit out of your price range, please check my other auctions as I also have all the bricks from the structure too, and have put a nice plaque on them.
