Stylish piece of original Deco lighting with beautiful original period fittings. “Beautiful classic style with lots of character”. Substantially built in heavily constructed components throughout. Stunning Large Opaline moonstone milk glass plafonier bowl in a three arm riginal “heavy brass cage”. Original 1920s heavy “alternating designs” solid bronze chains. Original three-arm bronze ceiling plate with cable lock. Original heavy bronze “three-bulb” spherical block head. T hree original bronze bayonet-fit B22 bulb holders. Rare Early Vintage Industrial Dugdills Machinist Work Lamp Light Antique

Welcome to Room 8 Interiors! Specialising in interesting vintage, antique & very often unique period items including lighting, furniture, advertising & decorative pieces. A fantastic early vintage industrial Dugdills work lamp. A wonderful & very rare model with a heavy cast iron base & hanging hook, articulated arm & white enamel shade. An exceptionally original example of a lamp which very rarely turns up for sale any more. Rewired in twisted black flex. 1920’s H 45 cm Wear commensurate with age, good overall, cosmetically unrestored. All joints are freely moving with the exception of the swivel joint midway up the arm which is very often seized on these earlier models (I’ve not tried to free it up & it may well release with some encouragement). Height measurement above is taken with the lamp as per the main image. All electrical items should be checked and / or installed by a qualified electrician prior to use. Early 20th Century Wall Mount Extendable Accordian Exam Light Faries Unique Rare

Antique Early 20th Century wall, post or beam mount accordion style extendable exam light lamp. 1 of a kind lamp available, there is no other exactly like this lamp. Mount is made of cast iron, protrudes from the wall 3″, height of the mount is 7 1/2″, width at mounting area is 2 3/4, black in color. The mount has a 3 bolt or screw pattern mounting flange. The accordion section of the lamp is made of steel which is nickel plated. The accordion arm section has a 1/2 in diameter pin attached to it that drops into the wall mount and can be locked in place via a small set screw, extendable arm can swivel if lock screw is left untightened. Attached to the accordion arm is a brass tubular forward lamp arm. Brass lamp arm does pivot a few degrees for light placement. At the base of the brass lamp arm is a scrolled cast metal piece which acts as a handle for light placement. The scrolled handle is also nickel plated. The lamp is equipped with a brass swivel type pivot joint at the socket, an Arrow paddle socket is attached to the swivel. Lamp is equipped with a very nice cream white colored porcelain 2 1/4 fitter shade. Shade measures 7 1/2″ x 6″ x 4 1/2 in height. All new modern replacement braided black cloth covered electric wire. Plug end is new period correct style. Tested for proper safe function. Extends to 5′ in overall length. Brass lamp pin section is stamped KR, shown in pics. RARE Antique Early 1900s SS White Dental Cast Iron Wall Bracket Arm Lamp Light

Here is a Cast iron SS White articulating wall lamp bracket from the early 1900s. Great wall lamp and rewired with a new cloth wire. Both cast iron pieces move left and right. I haven’t been able to find another piece like this anywhere online. Would be great for any light or dental/medical collector. Originally when found there was a hairline crack in the top piece of main bracket. I had it professionally welded and repaired only about a quarter inch of the whole top piece. It is not noticeable now. Painted the small area in a flat black to try and match the rest of bracket. Also, liquid welded a brass socket thread at tip of arm for socket. This is to keep light socket in place. Comes with a early holophane lamp shade as well. Light is in working condition. See photos, ask any questions needed.
