Rare Pair of Early Regency Spode 967 Pattern English Imari Porcelain Hand Painted Porcelain 8¼ Plates. Round indented edge shape. English imari fence pattern in characteristic imari colors of under-glaze blue & over-glaze orange-red, green & gilt. By hand red Spode 967 near the foot rim. Godden mark #3648b, Written mark with pattern number on earthenware and porcelain, c. Spode pattern 967 is shown on p. 223 of Cushion, Encyclopedia of British Porcelain which notes that the pattern was introduced in 1804. Very attractive clean pair in fine condition but for very small underside edge nick on one of little matter, otherwise no chips, cracks, hairlines. All Items Are Sent Insured. RARE ANTIQUE 1813 EARLY MASONS IRONSTONE IMARI STYLE SWEETMEAT / DESSERT DISH. THIS IS A FINE AND RARE EXAMPLE OF AN EARLY MASONS IRONSTONE SWEETMEAT / DESSERT DISH. HAVING THE CIRCULAR’PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA’ MARK IT DATES TO BETWEEN 1813 AND 1820. DECORATED IN AN IMARI STYLE WITH GILDED RAISED DESIGN IT MEASURES 17.2CM LONG, 12.2CM DEEP AND STANDS 2.9CM HIGH AT THE RIM. IN GOOD CONDITION THERE ARE NO CHIPS OR CRACKS, THERE IS SOME MINOR WEAR TO THE GILDING IN PLACES AND ALSO SOME RESIDUE FROM THE KILN IN THE GLAZE MOSTLY TO THE BACK. ALSO AN UNDERGLAZE FAULT ON THE BASE RIM DONE PRIOR TO FIRING THE PIECE. A RARE VERY EARLY EXAMPLE IN AN UNUSUAL PATTERN IT WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION. THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK. IP16 RARE Early Imari Japanese Shinogi blue & white porcelain plate w/box. Lip is a form of Tsuba, hand-carved Shinogi pattern, Foot is 1/3 of the whole plate, It is a typical incipient Early Imari. It is drawn largely with old people, relaxing fishing, mountains and a sailing boat. There is a story that the fishing line of this subject does not have a needle. Is he hermit or a Taoist guy… Age: 1624 – 1645 Kan’ei/E. It is a finished item that can not be obtained even in Japan. Normally excavation products will be distributed.
