An original rare if not unique heavy brass bulls head car mascot belonging to the earl of westmoreland / fane family. The mascot is nicely detailed and is made in two parts from solid brass and other than the iron nut is stuck on the thread it is in very good uncleaned condition with no damage. Approx 5&1/2 inches tall.

Antique RARE 17 2 LION Silverplate Heavy Candle Stick Holders Early Mid Century. It has a great patina the way it is. It is 17 inches tall and weighs over 4 pounds each, fantastic detail. We were told these are very rare and hard to find. We found no makers mark on them.

This is a rather special find. It is a large and heavy Victorian padlock made by E. They were mainly known for making highly secure safes but also made these as well. Very occasionally they become available but without a key which wouldn’t be of much use! Usually they are only seen in collections or museums. Dimensions – It weighs an impressive 965 g, about 2.1 lbs. It is 5 1/4 ” long closed, 6 ” open. It is 3 1/8 ” wide at its widest, 2 1/4 ” at its narrowest. The body is 7/8 ” thick and the hasp is 5/8 ” thick. Also included are 4 smaller keys and a’lost & found’ tag from a company in Newport, Monmouthshire all of which are on a heavy duty key ring. For those of you who, like us, are a little older you will remember that these companies set themselves up all over the country and if found you sent it back to the company and the gave you 5/- / 25 p. Description: Here we have a very unique and rare Bronze Egyptian Door knob! This is around 1890s- 1900s. This is a lot more heavy duty and heavy than a lot of doorknobs Ive had. Great subject matter and patina. I was told that this came out of the Eagles Nest in Long Island which was owned by one of the Vanderbilts. This could also be Tiffany, as that house was very finely put together with the highest of quality things, along with a lot of Tiffany. Nice condition for the age. A Great Addition to Any Collection.
