A very rare early French antique solid sterling silver wine taster. It is hallmarked with the French charge and discharge marks for 1768 – 1774, pre French Revolution. It has been superbly made having a scroll handle and engraved initials. It is in good condition for its age being free from splits and repairs, there are a few slight dinks to the raised decoration and one tiny pin hole – see final photo (worth getting sorted on such a rare piece). It is nice and clean inside. 4 inches (10cm) wide including the handle by 3.25 inches (8cm) excluding it by 1 inch (2.6cm) tall to the top of the handle and and weighs 84 grams. A very rare early piece. If you have any queries etc… To see lots more rare and beautiful silver. Rare 19th Century French Antique Cherrywood Refectory Serving Dining Table. Without doubt one of my favourite pieces of furniture. These have so many uses from a dining table to a large console/table to a kitchen island/counter or a side table (I’ve even seen them in butchers at blocks). This is in fantastic original condition with wonderful patina but structurally still very solid given it age. As you can see, it does have some character marks which I think only adds to the charm however you could sand it down and refinish it if you were looking for perfection. A super piece of furniture at a very modest price given the quality. Height to the bottom of the skirt is 49 cm so it could benefit from being raised slightly if you plan to use it as a dining table. Geoffrey James Antiques and Reclamation specialises in antique furniture and building reclamation items. Unit 8, The Courtyard, Glory Park, Wooburn Green, HP10 0DG. Plenty of free parking on site and no appointment necessary, outside of these times is possible with prior notice. In most cases all items are now delivered by a two person team. We will of course let you know if this is going to be the case. Collection: It goes without saying we are very happy for you to collect any items yourself and will be on hand to help assist loading where possible. Using your own courier: Again this is fine but we will require a minimum of 48 hours from the collection driver. Cannot be used for furniture items, and we do not have a packaging service available. Vintage/Antique French Game Meat Pie Raised Mould Mold – Rare Shape – Top & Bottom Lids – Kitchenalia Cookery This is an old French game pie raised mould in a rare, very hard to find flared shape. This is made of tinned metal and is in four pieces. Two side pieces that clip together with sliding clips and a smaller top lid and larger bottom lid. These make truly elegant game pies, made for deer, lamb, rabbit, partridge, and other game. Please see the last photo of an example of the pies that can be made. Measures 9″ wide, 4.25″ high, 4.25 deep. Condition as shown, shows wear and patina, no damage. All items are stored in a clean and smoke free environment. We pack all items in tissue paper, bubble wrap, & double box if item is fragile. Items are fully insured with tracking.
