A very rare early silver folding campaign fork. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I do not know where it was made but would think Northern Europe – France, Belgium, Holland. It has been superbly handmade having a hinged joint allowing the fork to fold out and lock. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs and works perfectly. It measures almost 6.5 inches (16.2cms) long fully open by 0.75 inch (1.9cms) wide and weights 33 grams. A very interesting and rare piece. Italian Renaissance Folding Chair. Rare folding chair, known as a’Pincer’ chair, or Sedia Tanaglia. Northern Italian, late 15th or early 16th century. Beech wood with incised geometric decoration. Still in working order with no apparent restoration. Similar to the armchair version, known as a Savonarola chair. I have been in business for over 30 and have handled only two of this type, it is very rare and in great condition. Listed for sale is a rare and early 1955 Eames DTM20 by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. The table is novel in that it folds flat. It has a white top and looks really superb. It is a fabulous example and ready to use! This table is fully labelled, includes all of its original straps, and is stamped DTM20 into the wood construction. The Eames DCM featured is not included. Table dimensions are 34 w x 34 d x 28.5 h. Very little if any noticeable wear. Metal parts are all original and table is stamped DTM20.
