Very Rare Royal Doulton Kingfisher On Rock HN 224. Model Number: 258 (impressed to base). Issued: 1920 – 1946. Height: 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm). Colours: Malachite, blue, green, orange and browns. Excellent Condition Assured – No cracks, chips, scratches, restoration or any other kind of damage. To note: There is a small area to the right wing whereby the malachite paint has not taken during the firing process, not damage as this is underglaze and as such the piece is in the same condition it left the factory. Some areas of crazing to the malachite only, top of head and left wing. These observations do not detract from this very rare piece and I do mention for complete accuracy. A lovely silver caddy spoon by Richard Morton Sheffield 1786. This would be one of the earliest silver caddy spoons to be made particularly from a Sheffield silversmith. The spoon is in good order with a fluted shell shaped bowl and plain handle thumb piece. The spoon appears to have made by die stamping or pressing. There thumb piece handle has been lightly monograms with initials in scrolling script. A rare example illustrating the tooling development for caddy spoons in Sheffield with excellent hallmarks in. Very Rare Royal Doulton – Fox in Hunting Dress HN 100. There is a very small, stable, hairline stress fracture in the base towards the tail area, (see last photo) which is approx. 2 cm in length and rises where the tail is by 2-3 mm.
