This shop is to help me increase my knowledge and help homeless pre-loved vintage items find a new forever home and survive a bit longer to be appreciated by future generations. I’m not here to rip people off or make a quick buck so if you have a problem I will always try to sort it out quickly and fairly so we can part as friends and you’ll feel safe to come back. Please read the description and look at the photos as I try to document all features and any damage. Terms like “excellent” or “very good condition” are subjective but I mean for their age and consistent with normal use. For example, it is unreasonable to expect a 1930s household item to be immaculate but if it is I will describe it as immaculate or mint. In the unlikely event that on receipt of your item, you are not completely satisfied please do not hesitate to contact me so that we can resolve the problem. My promise to you. I list items as accurately as I can; if I can see an item isn’t perfect I’ll say so in the description. Please bear in mind, my items are vintage and so will show some wear typical of their age. For example having movement scratches or scuffs underneath. I research every piece using books, catalogues and the internet but I’m not an expert on everything by any means and collecting vintage glass is my hobby not my profession, so if you think I have misdescribed something please let me know so I can learn from you and change the listing. All fragile items will be sent in sturdy boxes wrapped in bubble wrap paddled out with void paper. I know how disappointing it is when an item arrives broken. Please get in touch if you have a problem and take some photos of the damage. More expensive items are sent tracked and insured for my protection and yours. This is a non smoking home – but not pet free. Random dogs may find their way into photos and these are not included in the sale!

Final reduction before I decide to keep the item. The item will end in the next couple of days. A rare, early and genuine Bergmann Vienna Austrian cold painted bronze. Arab girl with stone pot, Urn, Ewer stamped with the Bergmann mark and model number 2897. This is an early piece produced c1900. The Roman numeral mark VIIII may indicate a production date of 1909. Stunning detail and casting quality which hopefully you can see in the detailed images. I have not seen another example of this rare version with the stone pot which really does make this a substantial piece. The detail and realism of the pot, wooden frame and rope is extremely.
