For sale is an Antique 18th century Dutch bulbous form decanters with double applied. Handles, wiggle work and etched. Decoration of birds and flora. Open Pontil mark at the base. It is rare to have the original stopper present. 11.5″H x 6″ dia. Old glass often includes an occasional bubble or two and may have uneven whirling patterns. These imperfections makes old glass has a beautiful and unique look compare to modern factory made ones. This rare early bottle is in good antique condition but far from perfect. Please note the losses to wiggle work as well as a few minor chips to the lip. There is no major cracks otherwise. Age appropriate wears (especially on the base) are to be expected. Vintage 5-string banjo with fully engraved metal body. Stamped RELIANCE on the headstock and S. ROSE & CO, BOMBAY on the heel. Believed to be pre-WWI, possibly very late Victorian or Edwardian. Made in the UK as a colonial-era export for the Indian market. Wooden neck, slotted headstock, metal back and sides with floral engraving. John Grey trade connection likely, exact maker unknown. Wear and patina consistent with age. Exported to India by S. Rose & Co during the British Raj. Rare to find in the UK with both maker and export marks.

Very hard to find piece that has a twin on display at the met. This piece is likely from the 1800’s. A beautiful whiskey decanter with a spout and stopper decorated with the word whiskey hidden in the illustration. The lip of the spout is chipped see photos for details. The etched design features a crane with reeds and other plants. There’s a clover design and some birdhouses on there too. 7 inches tall without stopper, 8.5 inches tall with the stopper. About 5.5 inches wide.

Antique Engraved 900 Silver Pocket Ashtray Box 30.6g. No marks but tested as 900 silver. Measures 1″? Long, 1″? Wide and 10mm tall. Vintage, Antique or Pre-owned. Good Condition, Original Condition Unaltered, pocket ashtrays were a common accessory, especially among those who smoked. These ashtrays were designed to be portable and convenient for smokers to carry with them, allowing them to dispose of cigarette ashes and butts in a tidy manner while on the go. This little ashtray was made to fit in your pocket for personal and portable use. Classy and well made, the hinge is smooth and curved to hold a cigarette. Could have other uses but would look great on your desk or as a gift.

Up for sale is a VERY RARE, LARGE original copper engraved antique map by Pierre Mortier of Le Duche De Milan – “Dans Toute Son Estendue” (In all its extent), “Divise en ses Principales Parties” (Divided into it’s main parts). “Auec les Estats et Frontieres qui L’Environnent on sont Exactement Marquee Les Route des Imperiaux”. Circa: Early 18th Century NOTE. The map has lots of topographical detail and shows numerous place names. Some of the features on the map are towns, villages, rivers, hills, roads, bridges, estates and forests. The map is on hand laid paper and has a beautiful decorated title cartouche in the lower left corner. It is blank of the reverse side. It measures approximately 36″ x 25″, including the border area. The map has a good 4 1/2″ border on the left and the right and a 2″ border on the top and bottom. The map is in Good condition. There is some age related browning and staining, particularly along the edges. There are several chips and tears along the edges (these will not show when framed). There are some creases here and there, as well. The map has a crease/fold line down the middle from when it was originally bound. There are some pencil notes along the bottom right border by a previous owner. Other dings here and there. Still this is a GREAT MAP and will look fabulous when framed!
