Rare Antique Early 19th C English Pillar Floral Chintz Cotton Fabric Brown Red

I had a wonderful opportunity to acquire a gorgeous collection of early 19th century, circa 1820’s chintz. All English printed for the American market. A prestigious fine collection from a New England collector. I’ll be listing them all in separate listings. This listing is for a sublime early pillar floral chintz. Roller printed & hand block printed. Pillar prints are highly collectible & this is truly a stunning example. The scale is large. Please zoom into all the lovely elements as it is beautifully created. Very overcast today so not certain my photos do this outstanding piece justice. Appears in lovely condition for it’s age with a hint of mellowing to the early hues & some surface patina. Excellent for many authentic early period projects & quilt repair, cushions, framing, possibly a cover for a stool or similar etc. And excellent in a collection or archive as these are all very rare survivors. So early & so hard to find. Measures 23″ wide by 35″ long. If desiring the full panel, please enter a quantity of “2” & you’ll receive a length that is 23″ wide by 70″ long. Rare Antique Pair of Miniature 4 English Staffordshire King Charles Spaniel Dog

Not new with crazing but otherwise in good vintage condition as seen clearly in the 24 pictures/sizes are seen in photos. Crazing is the effect on pottery which causes it to have a web of tiny cracks over its surface. These are not cracks in the actual structure of the pottery but actually an effect on the glazed part of the pottery. This exquisite pair of miniature figurines is a I believe rare antique find from the early 20th century. The Staffordshire King Charles Spaniel Dogs are beautifully crafted with a glossy finish and art pottery production style. Measuring about 3 inches in length and 4 inches in height, these original figurines are handmade and feature intricate details, including the iconic Staffordshire Dogs pattern. The white and black colour scheme adds to their vintage charm, and they are unboxed, ready to display in any collection. These figurines are a must-have for any dog lover or collector of early 20th-century pottery. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to own a piece of history with this stunning pair of Staffordshire King Charles Spaniel Dogs.

There are two people leaning against a fence – two paths lead from them – one to what could be a church and another to a row of houses. In the background are mountains and trees. The people could be two farmers or a couple. Both have hats on, it appears. The whole scene is then circled by a floral and foliage display. All this on one small bowl – a true work of art to be treasured.
