A rare early pair of collectible miniature Delft vases measuring 2.5″ in height and 1.5″ in diameter. These antique vases are hand molded and hand painted in cobalt blue with a floral, foliate and geometric design. We believe them to be mid 19th-Century in age. The maker’s mark is on the reverse. They would be a fine and crowning addition to a Delft enthusiast’s collection. Dimensions: 1.5″ Diameter x 2.5″ Height. Condition: Very good, light fritting as shown. Rare Dutch 17th of Early 18th C Delft de Klauw Lion of Judah Charger C 1640+. Presenting an Rare and Fascinating Dutch. Antique Blue and White Delft Chinoserie Charger which Dates to the 17th or Early 18th Century. Circa 1640+ In the Form and Decorated in the Chinese Transitional Kraak Style in Undergalze Blue, the Border with Alternating Segments, with a Panel with Flowers and a Narrow Panel with Trailing Tulips Between. The Central Medallion Depicts the Lion of Judah, Standing at the Gate of Heaven. Measures aprox 35 cm Wide Kiln Marks on Base and Old Hanging Wire within Pierced Display Hole. Generally in Good Antique Condition for it’s Vast Age but has a crack running from rim, with another very fine hairline crack to base and fritting to rim, with a frit to glaze on gate, which is commensurate with age Displays Magnificently. Antique Blue and White Delft Chinoserie Charger which I Believe is Probably English and Dates to the Late 17th or Early 18th Century. Circa 1680+ In the Form and Decorated in the Chinese Transitional Style with Deep Well with Raised Rim Hand Painted in Free Style, in Underglaze Blue. Depicting a Garden Scene with Flowers and Butterflies to Centre, which is Framed with Two Concentric Lines. With an Ancanthus and Scroll Border and Inner Border The Base is Decorated in Kraak Style. Measures aprox 33.5 cm Wide Recessed Foot Rim with Kiln Marks on Base and Old Hanging Wire within Pierced Display Hole. Generally in Good Antique Condition for it’s Vast Age but has historical repairs which has been done with the use of staples in the 19th Century and there is fritting which is commensurate with age Displays Magnificently. Rare 17th Century Antique Early Delft Tile Dutch Angel Riding Dolphin. This is a beautiful and very well painted 17th century antique Delft tile featuring an angel cupid? The tile is decorated with “ox-head” corner pattern and is in good condition without restoration. Wear consistent with age. One corner has some damage (photo 4). The back of the tile is lined with felt that I just partially removed to take a photo. I decided to leave on the tile. Size: 5″ x 5″ x 0.5. This is a rare and early 18th century tulip or flower vase “tulipiere”. Representing a feast with a putto drinking wine and a second one holding grapes.
