Exceptionally Rare Pre Coalport John Rose Colebrookdale Porcelain Large Tureen & Covered Bowl Circa 1805 – 1810. Very Impressive Size & Real Statement Piece. Rare John Rose & Co Colebrookdale Porcelain Pre Coalport Circa 1805 – 1820 Tureen Likely a bespoke commission for an important family, given the incorporation of a monogram. All hand painted and gilded, Excellent overall condition. Considering the piece is approaching 200 years old. No cracks chips or repairs to the tureen or lid, I have similar pieces listed, each with its own condition report, and photographs. Exceptionally Rare Pre Coalport John Rose Coalbrookdale Porcelain Sauce. Circa 1805 – 1810. Rare John Rose & Co Coalbrookdale Porcelain Pre Coalport Circa 1805 – 1820 Sauce Tureen & Underplate. Likely a bespoke commission for an important family, given the incorporation of a monogram. All hand painted and gilded, Great overall condition, considering the piece is approaching 200 years old. There is a chip to the foot of the tureen, and two feint stable hairlines on the underside of the under plate as per the clear photographs. An early and beautifully made Coalport porcelain plate, wonderfully decorated with a hand painted duck in natural habitat and with butterflies and flying insects. The duk is a rare breed possibly a Whistling duck. Additional research notes with reference from Henry Sandon. 21.0 cm, 210 mm. Excellent condition for age -minimal wear. All wonderful as shown.
