Stylish and Stunning Stag Tall Chest of Six Drawers. This is a stunning six drawer chest in teak. This is part of one of the early ranges designed by John and Sylvia Reid. This has wonderfully styled solid Brass pull ring handles anhandles that very well with the smooth teak veneered drawers. This unit has nicely proportioned drawers with the more slender ones in the middle. The sleek unit is then set on top of sleek teak square legs. These drawers have very strong mid century design influences and a very modern minimalistic design which is very typical of John & Sylvia Reid. Very stylish retro item with very very high end build quality. The condition of these drawers is very good. They are overall for Condition 8.5 out of 10. Very clean top and front. No broken or loose parts and have been very well looked after. Drawers all run smoothly. They have also been refinished in a combination of oils and waxes to give a deep shine to the grain. Lovely item that would fit seamlessly into a ultra contemporary or vintage themed home. No major damage or defects. This item may be collected in person or by a courier of your choice. Splendid set of 8 x hard to find genuine antique Regency round knob. Pull handles with a. These are beautiful quality handles with brass posts and still with their original brass retaining nuts; backplates are pressed brass. Size; backplates measure 45 mm diameter, 1.8 inches. Weight; lot weighs 645 grams. A fine set of handles in good condition with light wear and tear and a mellow patina. Most of my prices are firm and haggle free. For sale is a spectacular late 19th century to early 20th century American tramp art miniature two over three chest of drawers with a mirrored back splash. This piece comes to us from a private estate. This piece is constructed of cigar boxes for the drawers. It has a two board backing which is all original to the piece. The construction is fine and is a wonderful example of early American tramp art work. When the drawers are pulled out you can see various stenciled markings from the different brands of cigar boxes used to construct this piece. Ce in over all good condition. We do notice some areas of loss and wear which is all age appropriate. The surface patina is all original. There’s find oxidation to the wood and the piece is in over all sturdy condition. A rare and genuine early oak iron bound chest from the 16th Century. Nice dry patina, colour and iron work which commensurates with age with a couple of small replacements eg small piece key in framed lid. However, overall all original. A little rickety but so would you be if you were over 500 yrs old!!! But you can forgive such a lovely old thing. Imagine what it could tell you if it could talk! Not going to fall apart anytime soon though and still great for storage! Also can use as a gorgeous old coffee table/side table. Any questions please ask… Measures approx 70cm long 42 cm high x 37 cm deep.
