RARE ANTIQUE FIND 9ct Gold circa 1900 Lucky Kidney Bean charm 1 gram 1.84cm tall 9.3mm wide. Antique 9ct lucky bean charm. This puffed hollow form pendant is kidney bean shaped. This design has long been popular with beans dating from the Victorian era through to modern time. This particular example is dated to the turn of the 20th century. I have polished it to a high shine but not so deep as to disturb the gorgeous patina. Circa 1900, to the rear we can observe the’9ct’ purity stamp and the maker’s mark’R&S’. This lucky bean was converted previously from cufflinks and solder marks are present to the rear along the bail as photographed. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold. The gold is pale-rosey in colour, as Victorian gold typically is. Measures 1.84cm long x 9.3mm wide and 5mm deep. Weight is 1 gram.
