Like many pieces from this time there are flaws – one chip as seen to the underneath of the base, a repair between his head and neck which has been done well, and a line in his cloak as well as wear to the pearl like coating. There isn’t much I can find about this piece – he may well be King Arthur and this particular style of figurine is extremely rare.

This teapot is from the late 1800s and has a copper wire and wooden handle. The potter hand painted a floral decoration on the sides of the teapot. There is obvious signs of use and age but still very solid. Please look at all pictures, there are areas of chipping and surface cracking.

It did not produce a full range of ceramic articles but rather one-of-a-kind artwares. The company at first had just eighteen employees. By Shirley & Jerry Sprung, Walter Scott Lenox founded the Ceramic Art Company in Trenton, NJ in 1889, but Lenox assumed complete control around 1895. In 1906, the name was changed to Lenox China Company. The early pieces marked CAC for Ceramic Art Company are coveted by collectors.
