This product is a rare antique bronze mortar and pestle possibly from the 17th or 18th century. Weighs over 5 pounds. Very unique one of a kind piece. Made from a crude casting. Sits a little lopsided. Rings are a little wavy as they go around. Bottom not perfectly round. Doesn’t sit perfectly flat. Rocks a little from side to side. Has an imperfection or indention from casting on the bottom as seen in photos. It does not go through. Inside bottom is thick and solid. Measures approximately 4 inches tall by 5 inches across the top. Pestle measures approximately 7 inches long. Looks to have seen some use over the decades. Please examine photos for more details.
