Marked “Candidor De Chocolats” one pound net on top as seen in pic’s. This is a great find and not often seen as I couldn’t find much on it(it’s overall condition is very nice also) This Wood Box was from a very nice collection of very early wood dovetailed/notched corner boxes collected by one man over a few decades. The workmanship to draw alone with it’s dovetailed delicate looking corners(all four) is quite remarkable and the exterior of the boxes dovetailed corners(all four) are very well done also. This is a very cute wood box with great natural patina and in working order. Size is 7″&7/16ths wide by 5″&3/8ths inches deep by 2&7/16ths inches tall. Study all pictures just take as they show all measurements including the inside measurements using a 1 inch increment ruler. “Condition Description” This Box is in nice working order as far as the draw sliding in and out and the lid lifting off and fitting back on very nicely. The only Damage I see is not in the last picture with a yellow arrow and ruler under it showing it and it’s located on the very back of the lid so when displaying it You or anyone else won’t see it unless they pick it up and spin it around or lift the lid off.
