FRESH TO THE MARKET FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION! SUPER RARE AND HARD TO FIND!! ANTIQUE – CIRCA, 1810’S – MADE IN VIENNA, AUSTRIA. AUSTRIAN ZAPPLER – “3 DIMENSIONAL” – COW TAIL PENDULUM. NOVELTY DESK CLOCK WITH GLASS DOME. This rare, unusual and hard to find antique Austrian 3D Zappler clock stands 7 1/2 high with the glass dome on – The oval glass dome is approx. 7″ x 4″ across the opening – The “3D dimensional” silver plated clock body stands approx. 5 1/2″ high x 5″ wide x 3″ deep – It sits on a 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ oval wooden base with (4) small wooden disc ball feet – It has a tiny 1″ painted dial on the clock tower with a very tiny fixed “cow tail” pendulum – It has tiny black hands – The body of the clock is made up of (3) separate pieces of silver plated copper to form a 3D affect – The case. Is fitted with a quality 30 hour, key wind, time only, Austrian Zappler, fixed cow tail pendulum movement. It comes with a key for winding and its original glass dome. The clock is in excellent running order. Still displays beautifully – Great addition to any Austrian Zappler or Austrian antique novelty clock collection. Exquisitely detailed antique bronze sculpture cigar cutter. The fox is absolutely wonderfully crafted. Probably pre the 1920s. Unsigned, however I believe it to be Austrian. Measures 9 1/2 long, including the tail. The fox alone is 6 nose to tail. Weighs 2 lbs 6oz. Please feel free to ask any questions.

This rare antique Austrian jointed Teddy Bear with central seam is a true gem for any bear collector. With a size of 20 cm, this bear is – I believe – made of cotton (hard to determine) and straw filled dating back to the early 1900s. I received it around 40 years ago from someone who’s grandmother had owned it before handing it down to her daughter, who in turn later gave it to her own daughter (who gifted it to me). Some years ago, the straw stuffing had come out one of the legs and I had it repaired by a Teddybear Clinic. It’s still in quite a good condition, considering that it’s more than 100 years old (note the pointed snout, hand stitched mouth and upwards pointing felt backed paws). A true collector’s item.

Super Country House item which would have been used as a desk tidy or a vide poche on a side table. Apparently unmarked but in the style of Franz Bergman. The base measures 18 x 12 cm, total height is 12.5 cm and it weighs almost 1.7 kg. The attractive marble base has an old repair join across the width but otherwise in good antique condition with wear commensurate with age and use.

Up for sale is a rare antique Austrian portico clock, with silk thread movement. This piece is by CF Felsch, an Austrian clockmaker who worked out of Berlin in 1816. This clock was inherited from a late relative who restored clocks. This one was noted to have been serviced last in 2017. The clock ran when tested with a loud bell chime. This piece is absolutely stunning. It features a wooden, almost Biedermeier like casing, with carved lattice work, gilded metal ornaments, ebonized marquetry, and burled detailing. The piece is in overall good condition- a few minor chips around the keyhole on the dial, and some age cracks in parts of the wood (see photos). Measures 14.75 x 8.5 x 22 inches. Rare Early Austrian JUGENDSTIL Pottery Vase EDUARD STELLMACHER c. Rare Early Austrian Art Nouveau Pottery Vase EDUARD STELLMACHER, circa 1895. Up for your consideration is a very rare and early vase by Alfred Stellmacher, made a few years before founding “Amphora”. It is in the Jugendstil style, made in Turn-Teplitz, and features a raised decoration with colorful enamel filled sections is reminiscent of the cloisonne technique. Imagery depicts two seated figures smoking a pipe on either side of the vase. An abstract face is depicted just beneath the round opening on either side, between the two handles. Underside is stamped “Stellmacher Teplitz” in red. Height: 8″ x Width: 6″. This piece was likely crafted between 1890 – 1895, and is in the Jugendstil (German/Austrian Art Nouveau) style. Stellmacher (with others) founded Riessner, Stellmacher and Kessel Amphora Porcelain Works (RStK), better known as Amphora, in 1892. Logically, the mark on this piece should predate the formation of this company by a few years, although precise use of the years associated with this mark are unknown. The vase is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, damage, or loss. There are some areas of imperfection in the glazes and designs i. Enamels dripping below their associated area, etc. , but nothing distracting or significant. There are few “light” spots on the brown glaze (from manufacture), and a small area of minor roughness on the underside. All of these minor factory issues are clearly shown in the last few photos, and are minor. The vase is free of chips, cracks, damage, or loss. This quote is for the Continental U.
