The elephant does not have tusks, there are only two defects on the stand, please look carefully at the photo, I showed everything in detail. EARLY ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON OAK ASHTRAY, HAND CARVED WITH SIGNATURE MOUSE – 1940s. A really superb Robert Mouseman Thompson ashtray with a particularly well carved signature mouse that has a fabulous face, whiskers, and a lovely high back end and carved tail. It is a wondeerful dark honey colour with a nice grain pattern running through the oak. It is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear consistent with age, which is understandable as it is approximately 80 years old, so has amazing patina that you just can’t get with the later ashtrays. A stunning arts and crafts piece. It will be very carefully packaged and sent tracked and signed.
