Rare Antique Eton Fives Wooden Rackets Early School Sports Pair Display/Study

Rare pair of early Eton Fives wooden rackets, traditionally used in the historic school sport associated with Eton College. These examples likely date from the early-mid 20th century and still retain their original natural gut stringing. Eton Fives equipment from this era is highly uncommon, as the sport was played at only a handful of English public schools and later evolved into a handball-style game without rackets. Early rackets like these were produced in very small numbers, making surviving examples sought after for collectors of school memorabilia and antique sporting equipment.
