Rare Classical Style Early 19th Century Tiara
Rare Classical style tiara/crown with gutta percha decoration featuring Pan, possibly. I think it is silver but not tested. It can be worn as a circlet or folded to be worn with a ribbon through the loops. The condition is good conducive to age. There are remnants of silver cleaner and the metal is tarnished, so it just needs a good clean. The gutta-percha disk is loose in the setting but seems sound. Tiny fragments of the Pan decorative motif are missing, but the majority is still intact. Lovely piece for a collector or reenactor. Please check photos for condition and measurements.

NOTE, HORSE IS NOT INCLUDED. This removable saddle measures about 4″wide by 5″ tall and features Enamel on Brass, Circa Early 20th Century. Technique: Cloisonné involves bending wires (cloisons) to form patterns, filling the cells with colored glass paste, then firing and polishing. Materials: Made with wood, metal (copper, bronze, gilt), ray skin, lacquer, and sometimes inlaid with abalone shell or gold foil. Decoration: Features elaborate floral motifs, nature scenes, and patterns, using vibrant blues, yellows, reds, and black enamels. Purpose: Primarily ceremonial or luxury items for the elite, not simple functional saddles, often made in palace workshops. Historical Significance: Rare surviving examples from the Qing Dynasty (18th century), demonstrating peak artistry in equestrian equipment. HORSE IS NOT INCLUDED. This saddle is the same or very similar to the saddle on the horse you see in the last pictures which I included for reference. Grab it before its gone!

1820 Holy Bible printed in New York by Daniel D. Smith printed a handful of follow up editions after this one, but first editions are quite rare. Original leather binding shows some wear, but overall solid and attractive. Some splits starting and some weakening to front hinge, but still solid despite the fact. Overall much better condition than most early American Bibles of this time period. Measures about 11″ x 9.25″ and about 2.25 thick. The majority of books I list are 150+ years old. I do my best to describe imperfections and flaws in the item description, but please review pictures for the best idea of the condition. Check out my other book and Bible listings!
