It’s such a beautiful rare piece that needs some love and the attention it deserves. Very hard to capture the green and blue streaks across it. There was a piece of fuzz on the cross in photo is not a flaw on the cross itself the reverse of the cross is plain and can be worn both ways, over a high collar and vest is lovely if you choose, love this piece!!! This fine and rare dish is in perfect condition, the small imperfection in the rim is not a chip but is glased and occurred during the making process. Beautiful antique piece of japanese history. Finely painted in pastel enamels with floral sprays and finished with a red-brown enamel rim. It measures 10.3cm (4 1/8″) high, 7cm (2 3/4″) wide and 8cm (3 1/8) front to back.

A fine Wedgwood lustre Antique Bowl, pattern Z5068, dating to c. Exterior in rich Powder Blue lustre, hand-painted with vividly colored butterflies in flight; interior in luminous Mother-of-Pearl lustre with a single gilt-edged butterfly at centre. According to the Wedgwood Decoration Book, this shape is referred to as the “Antique Bowl”. Designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones, celebrated for her imaginative Fairyland Lustre and naturalistic motifs, whose work brought Wedgwood’s decorative range to international prominence in the early 20th century. This rare example combines refined colour harmony with lifelike butterfly rendering, giving the impression they might alight at any moment. Size: Height 8 cm, diameter 12 cm. Beautiful near matched pair of late Georgian/ early Victorian Minton porcelain encrusted “Florist” vases, dating to around 1830. Highly decorative and richly detailed, each vase features hand-applied floral encrustation, trellis-moulded necks, rococo scroll bases, and fine hand-painted panels-one with flowers, the other with exotic birds. These labour-intensive pieces represent some of Minton’s finest early 19th-century work. The applied flowers, gilding, and painting all show excellent skill and craftsmanship. A very attractive surviving pair. Maker: Minton, possibly Coalbrookdale. Date: c. As is typical for encrusted Minton. Expected small chips/losses to applied flowers. No obvious cracks or structural repairs. Hand-painted panels remain bright and detailed. Gilding in good order. One vase has slightly more flower losses than the other Overall an attractive and rare near pair.
