A pretty Derby porcelain baluster shape cream jug with convex fluted walls, raised flared spout and strap handle with vertical kick thumb rest. Finely painted in pastel enamels with floral sprays and finished with a red-brown enamel rim. It measures 10.3cm (4 1/8″) high, 7cm (2 3/4″) wide and 8cm (3 1/8) front to back.

Meet Luna an adorable and rare find from the 1920’s, featuring. Antique/vintage black Cocker Spaniel Dog teddy bear made by Farnell. Farnell was a British toy company that made the first teddy bear in England in 1906. The company was founded in 1840 by John Kirby Farnell, a silk merchant in London. The company ceased trading in 1960’s. Made in the England, this collectable item appeals to dog enthusiasts and vintage/antique toy collectors alike, standing out as a unique piece from a bygone era. Luna has no label but believe to be a Farnell. She is only jointed at the neck, so her head can move. Length – 20cms / 12 from head to tail. Materials – Black mohair throughout (good condition with some bald patches). Traditional black/clear glass eyes. Stuffed with straw throughout. Squeaker in belly which does not work. PLEASE NOTE – The Teddy Bears that I list are many years old and therefore are not suitable for children under 14 years.

Without the frame : Height 7,8 cm 3.07 in. Width 6,7 cm 2.64 in. With the frame : Height 9,2 cm / 3.62 in. Width 8,2 cm / 3.23 in. No damage on the portrait. To be noted that the frame is original. But not the glass (dating later). Accident on the backside of the frame. (An “antique statement” of Work of Art of more than 100 years old is joined to the invoice). A Rare Very Early Antique Noritake Twin Handled Lidded Floral Pastel Vase c1902. A beautiful and very rare, early Noritake twin-handled, lidded floral vase bearing the single blue Noritake Komura mark to the base, dating the vase to >1902. The vase is of a beautiful four-footed pedestal form with twin open-top handles and lid with pointed finial. The vase is intricately hand-decorated with pink, purple and yellow blossoms with foliage and beautiful gilt beading and scrollwork on a white and turquoise ground. A really wonderful, early collector’s item. The vase is in quite remarkable condition with no chips or cracks to the body even the handles are good! But there is a little rubbing to the gilt around the topmost rim. The lid has been broken but professionally restored with the damage almost invisible to the outside. A really good piece of sympathetic repair. Please see photographs for more information. The vase is 33cm high (including lid), 14cm diameter, 1063g weight. Very early Wrought iron stuffing spoon. Super rare early example in size and form… This piece shows being whitesmithed when it was made, with an added, never seen, splash of brass to the center. Nice punch decoration on handle. Very shallow bowl as typical of this early age. Rare early developing form. Measurements in pics, part of the description. The earliest example in the collection. In old surface, not cleaned. In the day, this was in a well to do household. Whitesmithed pieces of this era with added brass are simply unheard of. A rarity ready for your collection. No maker marks, beautiful workmanship. You can truly still feel the blacksmith’s hammer on these early pieces. These are very rare and seldom seen in this early construction form. This piece has a nice added splash of brass in the center, on top of the whitesmithing. Massachusetts acquired, outside Boston many many years ago, from my private collection. Very Early constructed example. My pieces range in age from American colonial first settlement period to roughly 1840. In the coming weeks, I will be listing many rare and hard to find pieces.
