Stunning rare piece dating to the 1700s, with fluffy silk trees, and paper instead of silk for the face. The silk on the back is amazingly thick and soft, as is slightly visible from the back. Hand done verre eglomise, this has a wonderful folk feel about it. Has been reframed at some point as there is cardboard support. Minor flaws as shown, including some foil peeling on the black. Stunningly rare older work.
These rare, early antique Victorian cufflinks are made of sterling silver and feature an intricate openwork design of a Gryphon-type Lion. They showcase a beautiful chain link style and have been intricately engraved. The cufflinks are handmade with attention to detail and have a gothic theme. Not marked but tested on a stone with 18k acid (see picture). Excellent condition, really a rare find.

This early 17th century brass bowl with open work is full arabic writing with holy Quran surah and darood sharif in the glory’s of prophet Muhammad and his family hazrat Ali and 12 imam very rare. A fantastic early vintage industrial Dugdills work lamp. A wonderful & very rare model with a heavy cast iron base & hanging hook, articulated arm & white enamel shade. An exceptionally original example of a lamp which very rarely turns up for sale any more. Rewired in twisted black flex. 1920’s H 45 cm Wear commensurate with age, good overall, cosmetically unrestored. All joints are freely moving with the exception of the swivel joint midway up the arm which is very often seized on these earlier models (I’ve not tried to free it up & it may well release with some encouragement). There are around 50-100 high definition super-sized pictures at the bottom of this page. A very decorative and well made piece, the burr walnut veneer looks good enough to eat from every angle, if luscious timber patina is your thing then look no further as this table has it in spades. The table has a lift top, the underside of the lid shows you just how rich the colour could be if you had this piece fully restored to include a French polish, personally I like the slightly duller colour, its shows the honesty of age. As mentioned you have lovely fretwork carved lids inside, ideally suited for cards and general nick knacks relating to games. The table has very high end inlaid detailing, the skill and craftsmanship required is absolutely mind blowing. The legs are carved to the top in the traditional English manor. The condition is period so has some normal scratches and marks here and there, theres nothing serious to note other than some raised sections to the veneer here and there and general little cracks.
