This is a rare, original 19 x 16.25 large format photograph, depicting an early 20th-century cycling event with a penny-farthing rider surrounded by safety bicycles and a crowd of onlookers. This is not a modern reproduction-it is a genuine gelatin silver print mounted on thick fiberboard, consistent with early 1900s photographic prints. Type: Authentic gelatin silver print, not a modern reprint. Size (with backboard): 19 inches x 16.25 inches (Mounted on thick fiberboard). A very rare Colibri pocket lighter that is ideal for restoration as it is complete. Made of Sterling Silver it features a pen style design and wheel flint action. Full markings as shown. Ideal for restoration as would only require stripping, the silver straight ink and a good clean. When complete this is a highly collectible rare lighter of significant value. Non smoking house and stored in dark and dry conditions. I have collected many items over the years and it is now time to let some go as well as finally have room in an overflowing loft. Old period spinning wheel spool holder tripod base hand made early 19th c rare. Early rare spinning wheel spool holder. Original not reproduction, early 1800s 2. Upright posts are hand turned, pegged into the bottom 4. Firm wire holds spools on, pull across by knobs on the right side 5. Notice the little white decoration on the top of the posts 6. I have not cleaned this, right out of NH attic 7. Original natural patina, no urethane, no stain, natural color 8. This is really a very nice early item. Between the upright posts 4.5 3. An original rare Zeotrope or sometimes known as’Wheel of Life’ with a selection of paper & cardboard cards. Possibly German made around 1880. The instrument freely spins on the iron pivot although it does wobble a bit – maybe due to use. Wooden base has some old wood-worm to one side. Original black paint is scratched in places as you would expect for an item this old. Height 36cms; diameter of cylinder 30.4cms. This is a rarely found genuine example & not to be confused with reproduction or made up examples! I often use recycled materials & carefully extra pack the items to arrive safely. LARGE DUGDILLS COG LAMP WITH BASE. Cog wheel joints and heavy “DUGDILLS PATENT” cast base. Bare metal arms and shade. Fully extended the lamp measures 1.1m to top joint (1.3m with shade tilted upwards). Rewired with vintage flex and fitted with a new chrome bulb holder. Fully working, but not currently PAT tested (advisable to get old lamps checked). The bare metal arms and base have an aged patina. They have been lightly cleaned and waxed.
