Rare Royal Doulton Seriesware Antique Miniature Jug – Welsh Ladies. Scenes/Titles: Child running to woman with cane / Woman with hand on hip, another nearby. Series Issued: 1906, extended 1911 and 1938 and withdrawn during WW2, This piece can be dated to pre 1922. Height: 1 7/8 inches (4.8 cm), Width: (including handle) 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm), Base Diameter: 1 inch (2.6 cm) approx. Perfect Condition Assured – No cracks, chips, scratches, restoration or any other kind of damage. Some very fine, clean, micro crazing evident, detected under magnification and barely noticeable to the naked eye, see pics. Does not detract in any way from this rare piece and mentioned for complete accuracy. Any white areas in my photographs are purely light reflection. Will be sent very safely packaged, as always. Excellent Condition Assured – No cracks, chips, scratches, restoration or any other kind of damage. Some very fine, clean, micro crazing evident, detected under magnification, barely noticeable to the naked eye, see pics. The white areas towards the top of the handle are paint miss and NOT paint loss as they appear to be under glaze. Neither observation detracts from this rare piece and are mentioned for complete accuracy. Any white areas in my photographs are purely light reflection. Will be sent very safely packaged, as always. Rare Royal Doulton Seriesware Lidded Preserve Pot – Welsh Ladies E3794. Noke, signed Noke to the right of the ladies skirt see pic. Scenes/Titles: Two women and a dog / Two women with cloaks chatting, one with basket. Series Issued: 1906, extended 1911 and 1938, withdrawn during WW2. This piece can be dated to pre 1922. Height: 3 inches (7.6 cm), Height: (with lid, including finial) 4 1/4 inches (10.8 cm), Top Opening: 2 3/4 inches (7.0 cm), Base Diameter: 3 1/4 inches (8.3 cm) approx. Perfect Condition Assured – No chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, restoration or any other kind of damage. The EPNS lid is in excellent condition but it could either do with a clean or the silver plating has worn. Any white areas in my photos are purely light reflection. This is from my own collection, it’s a great piece the base is very unusual , the blacksmith has repurposed a ancient scrap horseshoe if you look closely , it’s not unusual for bases to be old turned wood pieces repurposed but I have never seen this done before, it is genuine and untouched and unchanged a good size 10.25 inches high , a very nice piece for your collection. With 3 tiers – the top accommodating 1 spoon; the middle tier accommodating 4 spoons and the bottom tier accommodating 7 spoons. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SPOONS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE.
