Offering this unique rare metal Candleholder. Measures 7″ T x 6.5″ top diameter x 5 base. This piece has a great form. Looks like a dark patinated brass on the inside. The back has an original worn black surface and base almost looks silver plated. Came out of PA. The top likely held a candle snuffer. I apologize for the glare, looks even better in person. Expect minor abrasions but no major damage and a sweet and unique holder.

Offering this rare made early 1800s antique wood foot warmer. Measures 10″ x 8″ W x 7 T. This style warmer is hard to find. It’s in good condition. Constructed with handmade square nails. Displays a natural dark patinated surface and a slide lid as seen. No tray/pan was with it to hold the coals. Has the original metal swing handle. Expect minor imperfections and age lines consistent with age and use.

The bronze is cast in the In d i a n traditional bronze sand casting method. The bronze still has its naturally aged, oxidized and heavily tarnished surfaces, with episodes of verdigris patina. The bronze has a variegated surface with fluctuating color, varying between a honey or amber, to deep burnt sienna, chocolate and sepia brown metallic hues, punctuated by minty green episodes of verdigris found principally in the recesses of the sgraffito incised descriptive mark-making on the surfaces of the In d i a n Goddess figure Saraswati. The bronze hasn’t been rinsed, oiled or polished with any kind of polishing agent, bronze cleaner or metal brightening paste.
