This unusual size basket is a wonderful piece of country accutrimont that will add a touch of rustic charm to any home. The basket is made of wood and features a beautiful patina that has been preserved since its creation in the 1800s. It stands 11 1/2 inches tall and has a top diameter of 14 1/4 inches, making it the perfect size for storing small items or displaying as is. This is from my Wife’s collection. Now its time for someone else to enjoy it as much as she did.
Offering this beautiful piece of wood treen peaseware. Measures 3″ Tall(3.75″ to finial) x 4 base. This piece has a great surface and patina. Has separation on lid and body as seen. Does go through but is tight. Great bank style form. Signed and dated 1854. (Something) West Rim Vermont. There’s more writing as seen but can’t make all it out. Came from an advanced long time country collection with some great and rare antique items. Beautiful addition to your collection.
Offering this beautiful antique black painted early black Wood framed gentleman silhouette. Measures 5.75 x 4.75″ x 3/4″ thick. This is a beautiful early silhouette. Its all original and in good condition. Did have some loss/abrasions on the frame so I dry brushed in with black folk art paint. It is also signed but hard to make all it out. Beautiful piece and addition to your collection.
Offering this hard to find spice pantry box set. Measures 9.5″ D x 3.5″ T. This box has a great patina and wear with a stained cover surface. Has a faint stencil on top and front as seen “SPICES”. The bottom of spice jars are marked NJ 1858. It’s in good overall condition. Has some warping on the top as seen but nothing is loose and the look is fabulous. Expect imperfections consistent with age and use.
Offering this rare made early 1800s antique wood foot warmer. Measures 10″ x 8″ W x 7 T. This style warmer is hard to find. It’s in good condition. Constructed with handmade square nails. Displays a natural dark patinated surface and a slide lid as seen. No tray/pan was with it to hold the coals. Has the original metal swing handle. Expect minor imperfections and age lines consistent with age and use.
Offering this antique wood shaker apple slat basket. Measures 11.5″ T x 14.5″ top x 9.5 base. This piece has the best patina and wear. Has an original red wash paint on top edge as seen. Constructed with square nails. It’s in good condition. Does have a couple minor imperfections on slats as seen.
Offering this rare wedding band Candleholder. Measures 9.25″:T x 3.75″ base. This is in good overall condition with a functional pushup. Only goes so high up bc of dry wax on the inside of the holder as seen in pic 7. Looks to be from Colonial Revival Era. Has a sautered bottom as seen with a hard to find and desirable wedding brass band ring on the stem. Great holder for your collection.
Offering this large antique wood storage pantry box. Measures 19.5″ x 10.75 x 5.75″ T. This piece has a great surface and natural dark patina. It’s a handmade piece with colonial style finger lap constructed with square cut nails. This is the largest size with this form I’ve seen. Has imperfection as seen in pics 3 and 6, the base and top edge but nothing loose or unstable. And top of wood isn’t perfectly level as seen in pic 11 but lid sits flush. Great piece for a cabinet or bottom of stack with oval/shaker pantry boxes.
Rare , Solid Elm throughout , Antique , Attractive and Characterful Knee-Hole Fall-front Bureau. Elm pieces of this age are uncommon. Constructed from well figured elm planks with single planking to either side and top. Having a good colour and well cared for patina. Country/ Vernacular in style. Thought to be late 18th early 19th C. The fall-front supported by 2 sliding support rails revealing a fitted interior with 2 drawers and pigeon-holes. Central draw with brass handles, associated brass escutcheons. Door fronted cupboards to either side of the knee-hole each with a midway shelf. Some slight historic warping to drawer and fall front section , but in sellers opinion adds to the charm and character. No key to locks , (fall front , drawer and cupboards not lockable). Some historic and extinct furniture beetle activity to lining of the drawer and treated as a precautionary measure. Small imperfections commensurate with age.
