Perfect Christmas present or gift for a serious collector. Lovely antique French blue glass scent bottle with ormolu decoration, adorned with painted plaque. I believe would have been bought as a Grand Tour souvenir. Stunning quality item in excellent condition. 10.7 cm tall. IN VERY NICE CONDITION DESPITE ITS 142YEARS OF AGE & USE SHOWING very MINOR WEAR, BOTH The bottle and stopper ARE IN PERFECT UNDAMAGED CONDITION. PERFECT FOR THE SERIOUS COLLECTOR. This would make a stunning present gift. THERE ARE SOME very LIGHT SCRATCHES TO THE GLASS BUT NO CRACKS or chips. THE “FLIP TOP” MECHANISM IS IN FULL WORKING ORDER AS IS THE PERFECT RARE GLASS STOPPER. The polished Pontil mark at the base is a great way to tell it’s early age. I have approximately 300 antique perfume bottles which I have taken many years collecting. (see a few in picture 11). I have also included a picture of part of my 750 strong collection of Sampson Mordan in picture 12. Obviously these are not included in the price of this item, just for reference. If you want spotless then the high street is for you, but if you want a great antique that will appreciate in price with age then this is for you. You don’t get this by messing people about. Lovely French bisque headed fully jointed doll c 1880. Beautiful fixed blue paperweight eyes. Open mouth with teeth. With her original silk dress/ coat and under petticoat matching silk hat, blond wig, cork pate. Approx 21 tall. In v good condition a few scuffs on wood and gesso composition body. Two very small eye chips see photos. The m ark on back of neck is C. Then depose then i think L 9 C. I will send tracked overseas please ask for quote.

Rare Antique C1880 White Glass perfume scent bottle Beautiful Early Quality

A stunning Rare white coloured multi faceted glass C1880 scent perfume bottle. The rarer push button flip top mechanism is in good working condition. The lid is in perfect amazing as this is over 140 years old. The hinged lid is in perfect condition. The lid fits perfectly. A stunning piece of history and the pinnacle of scent bottle collecting. This bottle still has original fitted glass stopper which seals liquid perfectly and means the item can still be used as intended all these years later. Width approx 3.3 cm. Weighs 92.4 g. Considering the age of this item it is in good condition. There are a couple of light dents on the lid section but these are hardly noticeable as they look like reflection marks and reflective of an item which has been used and cherished for 140 years. See picture 9 and 10 to see the lid dents. Someone will get a bargain. This piece is in all original pre-owned pre-loved condition as to be expected there is age related wear and marks, I have left it un cleaned and it would polish up to a gleaming shine.
