A very rare early Royal Copenhagen porcelain blue fluted cup and saucer 1/7056. Cup 1/7056 : 6.8cm high and 9.5cm wide, 1st quality, excellent condition. Saucer 1/7056: 14.5cm diameter and 2.8cm high, 1st quality, excellent condition. Both pieces are 1st quality, excellent condition with no signs of damage and restoration. According to the stamp and manufacturing technique (wooden form was used), the set was produced in ca. This set is particularly interesting because the pattern is extremely rare and did not go into large-scale manufacturing. One can immediately recognize blue fluted elements, however, the decoration is more delicate, rich, and very unusual. The code 1/7056 indicates that it is a blue fluted pattern. There is no single mention of 1/7056 Royal Copenhagen cup on the internet. Similar pieces are referred to as Royal Copenhagen Blue fluted Queen Louise and Archive Blue Fluted. It is a very interesting piece to add to a most exquisite Royal Copenhagen porcelain collection. I highly recommend you doing own research and purchasing this cup! RARE ANTIQUE TIN TOY. EARLY MECHANICAL MOTORCYCLE / AUTOMATON RIDER. NICE SIZE AT ABOUT 8 INCHES LENTH / 7 INCHES HEIGHT. CLOCKWORK / WIND UP MECHANISM….. POWERS THE BIKE THRU ITS RARE CHAIN DRIVE ACTION. PERIOD EDWARDIAN GENTLEMAN FIGURE, WITH ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED FINISH. VERY NICE OLD MOTORCYCLE, STILL WITH BRIGHT BLUE LITHO. NICE TIN SPOKE WHEELS & ORIG. ORIGINAL FIXED-KEY WINDER TO THE LEFT SIDE. THE MOTORCYCLIST HAS A WONDERFUL ARTICULATED MOVEMENT, GIVING THE IMPRESSION HE IS “PEDAL STARTING ” HIS BIKE. STILL WITH THE UNDERSIDE LITTLE BALANCE WHEELS. WONDERFUL OLD PIECE NOW WELL OVER 100 YEARS……. The rider displays with typical paint loss/wear, chips, flaking as is common to these earlier German toys. Nice bright tin litho, with just little surface marks, chips, scuffs etc…. Great rot free state. No repaint or touch up. Motorcyclist has lost his left arm to shoulder hang tabs i have created a simple metal bracket with tabs, which simply slots into the original shoulder slots….. The rider’s underside upper left arm, simply requires securing permanently to this bracket…. With a drop of solder ideally….. But to leave for the next owner, i have had the arm very securely fixed in place with a small blue tack fixing/so easily removeable if desired. If you look at the images, you probably wouldn’t know the left arm has been repaired this way….. But i always try to be honest. MOTORCLE RIDER SITS GREAT ON HIS OLD SADDLE. WITH A CAREFUL WIND UP OF THE ANCIENT MECHANISM….. SEE SHORT CLIP BELOW AS THE MOTORCYCLE RIDES ABOUT VERY NICELY. RARE EARLY GERMAN TOY DISPLAYS REALLY WELL & STILL WORKS GREAT. (please see all images for actual condition). A LOVELY DECORATIVE PIECE. I’ve added all the images i can, in differing light to hopefully show the honest/accurate condition….. Please take a good close look at all the images as these also form part of the description… If you need more pics or have questions etc… Original hand painted toy… Tin lithographed; similar period toy makers included: marklin, bing, orobr, lehmann, distler, gely, kellermann, g & k, charles rossignol, fernand martin, jep, hornby, meccano, william britains, mettoy, wells, marx toys, structo, kingsbury. Antique Westinghouse Brass Blade & Guard Desk Fan Early Rare Original Paint Nice. 12 Westinghouse Stationary Desk Fan 104V 133CY circa 1905-06. Restored approximately 25 years ago. Seldom seen rare 133 Cycle. 1st version of Tank Fan right after the Pancake. Larger Vent Holes, Smooth yoke, Struts attach directly to round profile, Solid ring guard center. Early switch with no threaded hole to hold fiber plate, different base design. Early collector quality fan for the Westinghouse Collector. Very rare version in a very rare cycle, (Tesla’s original cycle design). This fan has been in my possession for over 25 years. It was restored preserving the stunning original paint, if any touch up was done it was only lightly(not over done) touched up using PPG or Glasurit automotive single stage urethane. The fan is 100% original Westinghouse. The blade and guard are both original Westinghouse as is all the brass. The original blade that came on the fan when found at a flea market was actually a cast brass hub early Tank blade that had two wings sawed off. Being an impossible blade to locate, we used a stamped brass hub blade that Westinghouse quickly adopted on the early Tanks. I have not tested it lately, but it ran when first restored. I only displayed it through the years because of the 133 cycles only allowed it to run a short while at about 1/2 speed. It was only shown to a handful of collectors and has never been shown at Fan Fair, so it has largely been incognito through the years. I displayed it at home without a cord, because I considered it a nuisance on the shelf. Please ask any questions and I will be happy to answer. Out of curiosity and some request, I checked to see if the fan would run. I was unable to make it run through the switch though the switch is complete and the coil does not appear to be burned out. I bypassed the switch and was able to get it to run directly to the head wire after a push on the blade. Please see all images for a pictorial description and ask any questions.
