A charming antique bronze figural wax seal handle, crafted as a rustic traveler standing atop a turned base. Early handcrafted examples like this – with expressive features, textured clothing, and a warmly aged patina – are increasingly hard to find. The figure carries a sack over his shoulder, rendered with lively character typical of European artisan work from the late 19th to early 20th century. The underside appears prepared for a seal matrix (not present), making it both decorative and collectible. A lovely collector’s piece with appealing age and intact details. A Stunning Rustic Antique Farming Scarifier Made in to a Coffee Table. The scarifier dates to around 1840 but is in good condition for it’s age.
