Rare And Early Wooden 400 Day, Torsion, Anniversary Four Glass Clock
Rare And Early Wooden 400 Day, Torsion, Anniversary Four Glass Clock. A very rare and early 400 Day, Torsion, Anniversary clock. Not seen one like this before, nicely made by’Badische U hrenfabrik’ who I believe were German makers? Their logo (‘B’ in a crescent moon) is found on the movement. The movement itself is in good sleepy condition but would require a full clean and service for it to work well. The disc pendulum is spinning a little whilst there has been a repair at the top of it (see photos). This movement is very unusual as it has Lantern pinions almost unknown on Torsion clocks. There is also a very unusual top crest to it, must be quite rare. Nice original disc pendulum while the dial is not the usual one that you see, possibly celluloid and is nicely patterned while the hands are nicely shaped. The four glass case is wooden which has been stained/polished red, so will need repolishing as it has scuffs, dings and scratches consistent with age. All four glasses are present, the front of which is bevelled. A nice early and rare model of a popular genre of clocks. Measures 12in tall x 6.25in wide x 6.25in deep approx. I do not sell reproduction items or copies, I also do not clean or restore my items but prefer to offer them in a genuinely sleepy state ready for professional restoration. I often do have items for sale that are in superb’ready to use’ condition and have many satisfied clients built up over 20 years. Please see my feedback. I always pack my items very well and securely using appropriate materials. Please note that as all shippers refuse to insure antique clocks in transit I cannot offer a guarentee for their safe arrival, but will always ensure that they are well protected in transit and with a recognised courier. In the unlikely event of a problem, please contact me first so that I can have the opportunity to arrange a solution. Rare early 1800s wool & glass bead tapestry / needlepoint art two lovers

Rare early 1800s wool & glass bead tapestry / needlepoint art two lovers

Rare early 1800s wool & glass bead tapestry / needlepoint art two lovers
For interesting glass , pottery , oil paintings , lamps , dolls and more…. This one is something i really hate to part with……. I have owned this tapestry for about 30 years……. But you simply cannot keep everything…….. The tapestry is all hand woven…… It is amazing and museum quality… 2 lovers in an embrace….. Parts of the entire painting have has glass beads woven into the tapestry tohighlight certain parts of the clothing…… In her hair and in his garment sleeve…. Also the ladys bracelets….. There is a mountain and trees in the background……. The art itself measures 17 1/2 inches across…… I do not know how much of the tapestry might be hidden under the frame….. Perhaps a bit more…. I have never taken it apart…… The colors are bright and stunning….. This was never exposed to much sunlight….. The frame itself is also stunning and early , but i do not know if it dates as old as the tapestry or not…… I think it pre civil war now……….. If someone can help me be more accurate…. I would surely be grateful to add their information to my description here…… I do not know why the numbers (71) appear stuck on the frame….. But i have never removed them…… The grapes are in relief in all four corners….. The grapes and vines are highlighted in gold gilding……… There is some gesso loss as the pictures show…… Again , it never bothered me to leave it as i found it so many years ago……. There is an old cloth back on the frame….. It sticks out past the wood…. Making the entire painting / tapestry some… 2 3/4 inches thick……. The wood measures 24 inches square…… Original finish on all of the wood…… I have always thought this was museum quality…… And i think it is flemish made…… It is a stunning piece of textile art……. I should mention that there is a picture of a spot in the blue sky…… To the left of the mans head… That has separated some……. There is at least one picture showing it…… I think it is insignificant , but i mention it for accuracy……. I hope someone will like this classic piece of art as much as i do….. Thank you for taking the time to search out this listing…….. My family appreciates how hard it is becoming to find anything on this site. Nancy or jon have taken a picture of the most interesting parts on each item….. My mom is often seen in the gallery photos showing the size of the item we have listed…… Usually the post office and sometimes ups…….. Since we send our things world-wide , it simply depends on where you live…… A toy or a tool…. Something for the bathroom , or a children’s book , whatever….. But all items will STILL BE insured by us , as we will pay for it on our end……. And again , all packing materials , wrapping tissue , paper , bubble wrap and boxes are free……. We re-cycle almost everything anyway and my brother Jon gets about 98% or 99% of his packages delivered to the customer in perfect condition……… ” having said that , UPS once broke our cast iron kitchen skillet “……. So you never know….. Thank you again for taking the time to visit this listing…. Best wishes and good luck in all of your searches….. I hope you liked our european tapestry….. I have more antique….. Unusual & sometimes just weird things in my….. Tony , jon , mom, & nancy. FREE scheduling, supersized images and templates. Get Vendio Sales Manager. Extremely Rare & Early QUEZAL Art Glass Lamp c. 1910 Antique American vase. Extremely Rare & Early QUEZAL Green Art Glass Lamp, circa 1910. We also feature a growing selction of high-end contemporary & early American furniture. FREE PICK-UP IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA. Up for your consideration is an extremely rare green & white Quezal iridized art glass lamp, c. The lamp features an early design & color, and the 12 glass insert is free of chips, cracks, or scratches. The vase/lamp base is unsigned, but unmistakenly made by Quezal. This is the only example of a lamp I have seen in green, although this décor often shows up in signed vases. As you can see, the lamp is not wired. All the other parts are present, but improving the mounts from the current ones would likely help the lamp. I believe this lamp was made earlier than most other lamps, before they started to use their standard mounts. The glass portion measure 12.25″ tall, and overall the lamp is 20″ from base to the top of the socket. Again, the vase is in pristine condition. This quote is for the Continental U.
