The mirror have some black spot and also few small damage which shown on the photos. The size of the picture what is fit in there is 24 cm height and 18 cm width. The item is very heavy and made in the early 20th century which can be seen on the mirror. Please see all the photos. The size is height 51 cm width 30 cm depth 2.5 cm. Stunning rare piece dating to the 1700s, with fluffy silk trees, and paper instead of silk for the face. The silk on the back is amazingly thick and soft, as is slightly visible from the back. Hand done verre eglomise, this has a wonderful folk feel about it. Has been reframed at some point as there is cardboard support. Minor flaws as shown, including some foil peeling on the black. Stunningly rare older work.
This is a very rare toleware frame, worn but it exists, it needs some new metal folding tabs soldered on the rear to hold glass and picture, a nice little project for someone.

Rare Early 1908 Charles & George Asprey London Minature Solid silver Photo Frame. Hallmarked 1908 CA GA for Charles and George asprey. Back of frame states spray London. Glass has damage, however, some is intentional as it has been made to fit with cut corners into the frame. 72mm by 52mm and 8mm deep. The silver holders at the back are a loose. So dont hold the frame so secure. The original purple backing, the material has been damaged. The frame still stands but easily has the potential to slip.
