This list is for a stunning handmade bottle of glass beads from Ottoman Turkey. I believe that this dates back to the late 19th / early 20th century and is characterized by remarkable craftsmanship and design. Traditional motifs, floral elements included. The beads are phenomenal and this is one of the best examples I have ever seen of this type of work. The strap is also very well made and features the same zigzag pattern that goes around the top of the bottle. Tour de force and a welcome addition to any collection. 21.5 width 9.8 cm. Length of the handle – folded 45 cm = 90 cm width of the bottom 3.8 cm-No shortages in perfect condition – seen in the photos. It is possible in connection with the created international situation I may not deliver to your country. RARE Antique PA GERMAN Early 19th C TIN Punch Decorated SPICE BOX Folk Art- This is a beautifully crafted early tinware spice box- these early boxes are very hard to find. There are some very nice decorative elements such as the raised lines around the box, really nicely made loop pull and the handmade hinge attachments which attach the lid to the bottom of the box, as well as the wonderfully done punch decorated design on the lid of the box and the nicely done solder work. We have found very few similar to this one in over 30 years of collecting. It has excellent naturally darkened patina and is in good to very good antique condition- it shows the natural oxidation of tin, and the solder is is good condition. It is hard to find this type of untouched/uncleaned original aged surface patina. The spice box measures approximately 3.5 in height to to top of lid. It is approx 7″ wide and approx 4.75″ in depth. View my other auctions for additional fine period items. This will make a nice addition to your Antique Tinware or Decorative Accessories collection.. Extremely Rare Wooden Early Antique Folk Art Doll 50cm/20 Inches As Found. Hard to find early wooden folk art doll, she dates from around 1820. She has such a lovely presence to her. Wooden head and shoulder plate carved from one piece of wood. Lovely long neck carved features with sweet smile and carved ears. Remnants of her original paint. She reminds me of an early type Izannah Walker doll. But she was made in the UK (probably Scotland) as I have had similar dolls before but they are so hard to find now. I hope someone can restore her legs and she would be really amazing. Dressed in very simple old cream dress with pink smock type top. Condition: Lower legs missing. Right hand one finger missing. Obvious wear to head and body. No re-paint I feel. Old Cracks and rubs to head. Please see pictures, as they give more details. What a beautiful pair of early American miniature frames. These date to the first quarter of the 19th century and are composed of a pressed brass molding attached to a wood form backing. These early miniatures are difficult to find in nice condition and this pair is quite unusual for the light moss green tint surrounding the site edge…… Never seen that before and its quite attractive. The frames have their original surface, nice wavy glass, shingle backing and a thin string hanger (was likely originally tin hanger). The pair measures 3 1/8 x 3 1/2 with a 2 3/8 x 2 7/8 rabbet. Fantastic rare, early American pair of frames for silhouettes or miniatures. Thanks from Phoenix Antique Frames. Exquisite example of early American shell art. The vase is a turned red clay with a white slip covering. Shells are applied all over the surface creating a mosaic pattern of flowers and geometric shapes. There are red/orange glass beads in the center of the flowers. Around 10.75 inches tall and quite heavy. Overall it is in good condition. There are likely a few of the smaller shells that have chipped over the years but you have to hunt to find them. The item “Rare EARLY Antique SHELL ART Seashell Encrusted Vase Folk Art Mosaic Primitive” is in sale since Friday, September 13, 2019.
