Absolutely pristine condition, which is rare for an art object over a hundred years old. It is a classic central European Art Nouveau design with flowers and thistle leaves. The letter “N” means that it was silverplated over brass. Acquired in an art gallery in Europe, it is a rare find for a Fraget-manufactured object and even rarer to be in perfect condition, without any wear or tarnish. Measurements: 12 ¼ x 5 ¼ inch (32 x 19 cm). Item Weight: 406 grams.

Rare Amber Frosted Art Deco Boy Sitting on the Fish in a Amber Clear Float Bowl Depression Era 1920’s or 1930’s. This is a rare Amber frosted art deco Nude Boy sitting on the Fish Figurine with built in Flower Frog. The float bowl is a clear Amber and is unusual because it has a double rim on the top of the bowl. The glass stand is very dark Amber, that actually looks black from a distance but you can see through it when you hold it up to the light. The Nude Boy sitting on the Fish Figurine with built in Flower Frog is 7.25 inches or 18.5cm high. The built in flower frog is nearly 5.5 inches or 14cm in across. These were manufactured by Schweig Muller & Company in Germany. There are a couple of small chips on the inside of the bottom of the flower frog where it sits in the bowl, otherwise it is in very good condition for its age. The bowl is very attractive and unusual because it has a double recessed rim, or a round trough around the rim. The round bowl is very heavy and made of thick glass. It is 13 inches or 33cm in diameter and is 5.5 inches or 14cm high on the stand. There are no cracks, or repairs on the float bowl but it does have one small bruise in the bottom of the bowl that the Boy sits over when displayed. There are a couple of little chips on the side of the foot on the bottom of the bowl. Is in good condition overall, with a few air bubbles in the bowl. There is a “PATENT APPLIED FOR” inscription made in the bottom of the bowl. The last photo is from the Kevin and Margaret Conway A Visual Reference book has the same bowl in Amber. These are a very rare bowl, they do not come up very often. The dark Amber stand, which looks black is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or damage. It is 6 inches or 15cm in diameter on the bottom and 5.5 inches or 14cm in diameter on the top of the stand. It is 2.5 inches or 6.5cm high. You rarely see these float bowls in this condition anymore, they are a lovely float bowl. It is a good quality figurine, float bowl and stand and is very heavy when combined and on display. These were made in the Depression era 1920’s and 1930’s in between the Two World Wars and are nearly 100 years old. Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and condition. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. I will double box this lovely Amber Boy on the Fish Float Bowl to protect it, and make sure you get it in the same beautiful condition it is in now.
Handmade in Germany in the 1920’s this is a stunning decanter as although it has age, it also has a design which will fit into any modern setting. It also stands out as a special pice of glass. I have quite a collection and this one always draws the eye.

Rare Antique (1920s) Thai Celadon Crackle Glazed Pottery Vase In Perfect Condition (7/18cm). Please browse all 12 photographs attached as they are self explanatory. Lovely vase in marvellous condition without any chips, cracks or defects whatsoever. Celadon is one of three main types of ceramics in Thailand. Its production has continued to develop from its early beginnings 700 years ago until the present. Sukhothai – the capital of the first Thai Kingdom – was the production center of the greenish-glazed stoneware known as “Sangkhaloke” wares. The name’celadon’ derived from two Sanskrit words:’sila’, meaning’stone’, and’dhara’, meaning’green’. Therefore,’Celadon’ means green stone. Celadon comes in many shades and styles, being found in tones of light and dark gray, honey yellow, green and green-yellow, olive green, blue-green and brown. As celadon is a man-made product which depends upon the skills and experience of craftsmen, it is valuable. Because of its attractiveness, celadon is used both for home decoration and everyday use. Cooking and serving with celadon ware is recommended, even in a microwave oven, since no chemicals are used during production. Celadon is a Thai art and craft which is closely related to Thai culture and tradition from ancient times till nowadays. The traditional process from our Thai forefathers and the skills in today’s production constitute a valuable and important heritage for the future generations.
Extremely rare large Bisto Gravy 10lb shop/catering size tin. This mono-coloured version is probably the earliest to feature the Bisto Kids by Will Owen and the lithographed panel artwork has his name on it. Size; very large tin measuring 255 mm tall and 157 mm square. In good condition with typical wear and tear, see photos. In many years of trading antique advertising tins I have never seen another example of this version of the large Bisto tin or seen a reference to it in any literature. Most of my prices are firm and haggle free. The only listings that I discount are those with a “Make Offer” option on the listing. I use recycled packaging where possible and most items are sent bubble wrapped and in a cardboard box. Thanks for visiting, please call again for my handy handles, toys, tins and tiques.
